You have a great taste in perfume! I am impressed with both your taste and the collection. I love those old school AG labels. They changed it now and I think the older labels look prettier. I thought you'd love Mandragore but surprise Gardenia Passion was your favorite.

Thank you! I have seen the new AG bottles and I didn't like them, it's as if something was missing from them. I tested some of their scents too and found that they just weren't the same :( I love Tuberose and Gardenia Passion is a big, bold Tuberose scent. I also love Musc Nomade and the three from her Les Orientalistes collection :) Do you have a favourite AG? xx

Ami Vissenjoux Yeah the new labels are so dry and boring. They say the color differentiates EDP from EDT but I miss how they added personality and charm to the whole packaging. There are so many from AG that I love, but I would say Le Chevrefeuille and Le Violette for now. They both are exquisite soliflore fragrances that are meant to make humans smell good.

Ahh, I used to work at Gilly Hicks, I love Tamarama. Since this store closed I've been holding onto my scents from them like crazy! Their scent La Perouse is also amazing.

So glad you are enjoying my videos :) A lot of people seem to have purchased Un Bois Vanille as their first Niche! It is quite a safe buy for a first if you like vanilla scents... Because I have such a large variety of scents, I usually choose what I wear as soon as I wake up in the morning, based on my mood and the weather. It just depends what I am craving at that time, throughout the day I do change my scent maybe twice, so one scent in the morning, another in the afternoon and one at night after I shower, so that's basically my routine every day! I do wear body oils and splashes along with my perfume too. If I am going somewhere special, then I like wearing something heavy like a few dabs of pure parfum layered with the matching scent in edp form :) Sometimes scents with Rose give me a headache so I tend to only wear one spray in the evening if I am up for it. I recorded Part 3 yesterday (had to do it in two parts because it was soooo long!) Hopefully I can put it up by the end of this week :D

Wow...how do you keep track of them all? Me, I have 4 that I rotate. Three are from Annick Goutal: Passion for everyday; Eau du Sud for the summer and Grand Amour to wear with my ball gowns (I have only 2, but they are ball gowns none the less) The fourth one is Diorella from Christian Dior. I am finding the original formulations are being replaced with synthetic ingredients. I am not sure if anyone else has noticed a fruity-melon under smell in some new perfumes. I really dislike it; apparently being able to smell it is genetic. Some people don’t smell it all.

Amazing…do you have a fragrantica profile? i'd love to see the collection all together….just amazing…And you have Mitzah…i wanted it so badly, but i didn't get to buy it before they discontinued it…=( We really share similar tastes!! I tend to gravitate towards very resinous, incensy orientals or huge white florals (or almondy scents), as i have noticed you do as well!! And you have a bunch i want, like the pre reformulated Annick Goutal's Gardenia Passion and Un Matin d'Orange. Unfortunately they seem to be gutting quite hard to find..

Yes we do have similar tastes indeed!! I am very lucky to find the Mitzah, I remember I bought it right at the time when they were discontinuing it. I had no idea about the Annick Goutal reformulations, I hope they don't weaken the scents :(

They said they only repackaged their scent…but they also got rid of a lot of fragrances, like mon parfum cheri par camille, tubereuse and our beloved myrrh ardent.. and i smelled Un Matin d'Orange in it's new bottle and to me it smells different. Instead of smelling like a huge dewy gardenia inside of a greenhouse, it now smells like some gardenias somewhere lost in a huge greenhouse…the gardenia is way softer and in the background and the emphasis is now made in the moist smell of a greenhouse..BUMMER!! I am trying to hunt down an old bottle but bah.. i wanted so many of AG's fragrances.. Another line that has worried me is Parfum d'Empire…they have also repackaged the whole line. They haven't discontinued any of their fragrances, which is good, and i haven't been able to try the new bottles, so i don't know if they have changed formulas as well…with the new IFRA regulations i am afraid they might have been forced to do it..so my top priority right now is to stock their old bottles as much as i can since it is one of my fav houses. Btw! Which concentration do you have of Gardenia Passion? Thats another one i want really badly but i dunno what concentration to buy

nicole schatz You might like Narciso Rodriguez edt, in fact, I think you should try their whole range as I think you will like what they have to offer :) Also, check out all the range by Tocca (especially Cleopatra, Stella, Florence) and also Juliette Has a Gun (Anyway, Citizen Queen, Not A Perfume) as they mainly make sweet musky florals. Guerlain Mon Precieux Nectar is one of my favourite floral/musky fragrances, I highly recommend it! Also check out these: Bois 1920 Le Voluttuose Notturno Fiorentino, Bond no 9 West Side, Bond no 9 Astor Place, Boucheron Place Vendome, Chanel 1932, Christian Dior Milly la Foret, Frederic Malle L'Eau D'Hiver, Guerlain Floral Romantique, Montale Roses Musk, Isabey Perle Le Gardenia & Isabey Perle de Lys Noir. I They are all excellent musky florals :)

I am a perfume lover. You have a beautiful collection. However it is way way way too excessive for one person, even a whole family. It appears to be an addiction or obsession. My sincere suggestion is to control the addiction rather than feed more into it. You have barely used these perfumes and these suckers go bad after a while. You could try using them or donating the ones you do not use. You could use money on other things in life or even charity. Right now, you are blocking lots of money in perfumes you dont use. I know I have no right to tell you one way or another, but I do not see anyone else stating the obvious. They are just feeding into your addiction as if is a normal thing.
