Amin Asikainen vs. Sebastian Sylvester 2

2007-06-23 unbeaten European middleweight boxing champion defended his title against former champion Amin Asikainen in Germany. Sauerland Event promoted. The fight turned out to be very controversial. Referee Giuseppe Quartarone lifted the homotown boxer from the canves and allowed him to do several damaging fouls during the fight.

I'm not a boxing expert, but why the fuck did the referee lift Sylvester up when he was going down...??!?? What the hell was that about? I'd say he was supposed to start a count, but instead he chose to lift the guy up... weird... :)

5:35 if you look closely that punch landed on the side of the head and that was a legitimate knockdown, the referee ruled it a slip but you could tell by the way asikainen was looking around, unfocused and wobbly he was badly hurt, and another overhand right by sylvester put him down again. This was a great stoppage, in the end asikainen just couldn't take sylvester's power. Great boxing skills but his chin was his achilles heel.

Yeah Asikainen is mutch better, Sylvester won because of that hit to back of the head.

Sä puhuit, että Amin olisi ollut sarjan paras paremmalle puolustuksella ja se on/oli utopiaa. Älä puolusta höpötyksiäs vaihtamalla mielipidettä. Asikainen olisi primessään AINAKIN _varmuudellaa_ hävinnyt viidelle middlen kaverile, voin luetella nimet jos vielä haluat jankuttaa :)

oh please, that was jusrt a normal hook and asikaines moved his head down, such things happen in thousands of fights and thats no breach of rules. sylvester got punshed in the neck twice by asikaines and nobody talks abaout that one. sylvester is the better boxer, realize it or not but asikainen has no chance against this german hammering machine.
