+Jenny Pedersen Hi Jenny, despite most songs that were not serious for Eurovision, France gave a few nice songs in the past 10 years. Patricia Kaas was great but certainly not her best song, Allez Ola Olé Zouk from Gwada by Jessy Matador was pleasant and ranked 12th out of 25, and more sadly Amaury Vassili singing in Corsican who ended on rank 15 because of technical problems... and that said a lot on French team motivations to make it an important event_ I won't talk about the presenters_... Amir knows that France was presenting good artists all those years but did not take that competition seriously enough (maybe because we invented it) and he is doing all is best to make France a winner in 2016. I hope the rest of the team is following him! I wish him to shine for France. Shalom Amir!

+Claude D. le bleme c'etait le clip avec des mecs en slip kangourou "made in jean paul gauthier" censé représenté la mode francaise !! y'a quelques années avec les fatals picards idem. lors de la sélection par le vote des telespectateur ils son en costard avec une rose et parle de romantisme à la francaise. a l'eurovision ils débarquent habillés en cage aux folles (et je ne parle pas du "clip", tourné en coulisse avec une camera sur rail qui tourne autour d'eux, meme un amateur fait un meilleur clip)

+Michael Anthony Nice - a compliment and a stereotype reinforcement, all in one sentence. Technically the French are cheating by singing in English for part of the song. They don't usually do that, mainly just to stick it to the English, despite the fact that there are only about 3 or 4 countries in Europe where French is a dominant language (so less votes all around for France). Clearly this year they want a shot at winning. We in the UK don't stand a chance because we've invaded far too many people over the years and nobody wants to be our friend, even with our catchy tunes and our amusing commentators.....or it could be that we never think of performing naked with live wolves. Maybe if we took a leaf out of Azerbaijan's book and putting a man in a box we'd stand a better chance.

Yes....when we bother to send someone that we would happily have in our own charts, rather than a song that we assume is Eurovisiony. At least this time we voted for our own song and we did pick the most memorable with some good singers. These two lads actually like Eurovision, unlike the girl we could have picked who was probably a better singer but didn't seem to know much about anything to do with Eurovision. Our two really liked last years' winner because of his performance, so I hope that they do actually do a performance too. That way they stand a chance of not being in the bottom lot.
