You can see Pernell in Zab now when he fought here (more than ever), but the thing is his dad's right; this style doesn't work for Zab so much since Zab relied to be a bit more aggressive and not utilize as much footwork to pop in and out so quick like Sweet Pea used to. I'll be the first to say I'm no pro but it just don't work out for Jab here; he's not as fast and accurate when the pressure's against the ropes like Sweet Pea would be. Zab's missing that extra something Pernell had.

in terms of styles amir khan has problems with big punching pressure fighters. he does not have problems with boxers who think there way in a fight it is for that reason i think he would give mayweather his toughest fight because he has the hand and foot speed to hit mayweather from a distance and if mayweather just tries to box and counter punch khan like judah was trying to do then khan would destroy him with lighting fast combination punches from the outside.

yes styles makes fights but you can't say broner's style beats khan's style and i can't say khan's style beats broner's and the reason i can't say that is because they have never fought nobody knows who would win that fight because they have never fought. but in my opinion if they did fight khan would be considered the favourite by the oddsmakers because he has fought and beat much higher calibre opponents than broner has broner won a split decision against malinaggi 3 years ago khan stopped him

Zabs jab is horrible! He ALWAYS throws the jab but not to land. He just throws it just to throw it. Zab is a one punch fighter. Once he gets that one good punch in that's when he goes and starts throwing combos. Zab has a ton of talent but just seems to choke up in big fights. Where are the body shots? Like c'mon on Zab are you serious? He should have attempted to light that body up.

wow....Im not a big fan of khan but he surprised me how bad of a beating he gave to Zab Judah...he won all 5 rounds,,,and wtf Zab was not throwing any punches. I think Zab game plan was to wait out the first few rounds and then go for the kill when Khan gets a little slow....which Marcos Maidana did. But he took a very bad beating. His eye was swollen very bad. Plus if he felt it was a low blow he should have stopped the refree from the countout or tell him this is a low blow. He kept crying.

Nope. Zab Judah was bullshitting. A low blow to a cup-protected junk doesn't buckle you like that. Just watch kickboxing and MMA where they get kicked in the family jewels all the time. Only a well-placed body blow to the liver or solar plexus gets the kind of reaction that Zab Judah had in this match.

As for Ortiz, if we are talking about nowadays' Ortiz, he ain't "lame": he beat a powerhouse in Andre Berto clearly - Berto isn't an elite fighter, but he surely is a huge, muscular Welterweight and Ortiz outlasted him in connecting big shots. So, Khan will do great by not going up there yet. Bradley has to take the fight, if Khan beats him, good, go up
