Your house is coming along nicely. I know baby Karen’s noisiness is upsetting, but he’s simply frustrated and wants one of you to entertain him. He’ll outgrow this fussy stage soon. As long as his diaper is clean and dry and his tummy is full, you have to learn to ignore his whining. He must learn how to process his frustration and to entertain himself when mom and dad are busy. We all had to learn that lesson. But of course, IF he was sick or something happened to him while you weren’t looking, you would easily tell the difference in his voice! He would cry out in pain. What he’s doing now is just fussy, whiny sounds. If he’s teething, an old truck that does work his to give him a clean, wet washrag to “chew” on. It gives him something to hold and focus on, plus it itches and soothes his mouth at the gum line. Hang in there. Welcome to the world of parenthood! Once he can start moving around a bit on his own, his whining will stop. 😁👍🙏❤️

Karin's teeth will be coming his gums will be very very sore. You might find that when he dirties his nappy/diaper that his skin will get sore too. Can you get baby medicine for his sore gums? To have your wife and child out in these conditions knowing winter is coming and you will never get the house finished is way over the top and not acceptable in my view.
