Precisamente, estos bailes se hacen desde la época de los harems de Persia. Alejandro Magno se llego a enamorar de estas danzas (y de Bagoas, un eunuco). Dependiendo del bailarin radica el grado de.. como decirlo.. "sensualidad" que le aplica. Algunos lo hacen mas marcado que otros. Amir Thaleb tiene bailes mas "clásicos" que este.
