Are you aware of this? God promised Abraham that his Seed would bless all the families of the earth (Gen. 12:3 et al) and this Seed is Christ (Gal. 3:16). This promise is the new covenant of grace which brings eternal life. It stands in contrast to the covenant of works (Mosaic Law) which brings eternal death. In Hebrews 8:6-13 & 10:6-18 we read about this new & better covenant, which applies to all believers, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. No one is in covenant with God apart from Christ, including Israel. Scriptures to read: Galatians 3:7-9, Galatians 3:27-29, Galatians 6:12-16, Galatians 4:21-31; 1 Peter 2:9; Romans 2:28-29; Acts 3:22-26; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Luke 1:71-73; Matthew 26:28. Blessings.

@@doug753 First, let's define the word of God. Jesus did not come to do His will but the will of the One who sent Him. He did not come to start a new religion but to uphold and fulfill what the Father had already done and what was written. His commandments are the same as the Father's. At His first coming He fulfilled PART of the written word including the spring feasts. At His second coming He will fulfill the remainder including the fall feasts. He was our Passover Lamb and through His sacrifice He paid the death penalty for our sins. We are saved from the second death not by works, but by faith. But if we believe, we should follow and obey Him. The law was given to protect us from ourselves, otherwise we would revert back to our Pagan ways. God instructed the Israelites on how He wanted man to live. We should follow His perfect law, not the traditions of the Pharisees. The end times will follow the fall feasts and He will fulfill them in a single season over a span of 22 days. By using the fall feasts as a template to interpret Revelation, everything lines up except for false manmade traditions. From Wikipedia. 1. Catholic church at 50%. Rejected the Sabbath, our Creator's calendar, and His Holy Days and replaced it with a pagan calendar and false traditions. At Council of Florence, even rejected the minimal four laws in Acts 15 (Leviticus 17 and 18). 2. Protestant at 36%. Daughter churches broke away but retained most of the mother church traditions while still rejecting the word of God. 3. Orthodox at 12%. Follow the decrees of Constantine. 4. Remaining 2%, but even of this small number most still follow mainstream traditions and deliberately disobey the written word. Note. I am not a SDA.

Such a wonderful teaching!!! How thankful I am to have been raised on the Word of God!!! I strayed, but He brought me back!!! Growing up in Las Vegas with your parents planting churches, was not easy in the '60's and '70's. I am 63 now. I know that the Bible is absolute truth!! I praise the Name of Jesus for His all Atoning Sacrifice on Calvary for my sins!!! If it had ended there, Hope would be lost!!! He arose by the Father's hand (Romans 10:9) and is seated at the right hand of the Father --making intercession for us continually!!!! How wondrous is the love of God!!!! I stand in awe each and every day!!! Having been chronically ill and disabled for 38 years, I have seen Christ's faithfulness over and over personally!!! How blessed I am!!
