I have partaken of 1 passover meal many years ago and will be again on 18 April, w an Israeli organization that's coming to share it w us at our church hall in Whangarei New Zealand. Geoff Short, Jesus Christ didn’t cause the coronavirus. You live in a fallen world, under the curse of sin, and the wages of sin is death. If you want to place the blame for the consequences of sin on someone, place it where it truly belongs, which is on mankind, and on Satan and the other power and principalities of the air, and the spiritual wickedness in high places that rule all of mankind who reject salvation and transformation of their ungodly ways and their wicked hearts through Christ. The problem with those who reject our Lord Jesus Christ, like you, is you deny the very existence of your Creator, who is Jesus, until something happens that you want to blame Him for, because you refuse to accept your own responsibility for the consequences of your sins. You want an omnipotent God who is not sovereign, because you want to be your own god. The problem is that all that’s wrong with the world, all the corruption, greed, death, sickness, and overall evil that pervades this world is a direct result of mankind trying to be his own god because he’s in rebellion against the true living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and our Creator, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of our Heavenly Father YHWH. When mankind finally accepts responsibility for the destruction his sins and rebellion against Christ has caused, perhaps then he will turn to our Lord Jesus Christ in repentance and ask Jesus for salvation so that the light and the mercy and goodness of our Lord Jesus Christ can shine upon the darkness in the world. The problem is sin, and the cure for sin is salvation through Christ. Therefore, you are the root cause of the coronavirus because your sins are part of the problem since you reject being part of the cure by rejecting Jesus Christ as your Savior. Point the finger of blame at yourself and every other person who is unrepentant and unbelieving.

I always thought I was created by my mother and father. 3. If the problem is sin why did your god give us the ability to sin? To give us that ability and then punish us for exercising it is pure sadism. It strikes me that your god really is a thoroughly unpleasant piece of work that we should all be attempting to destroy, not worship. And what about all the babies who die? Are they sinners too?

Our Lord Jesus paid all the ransom price to free us from slavery to sin and death. We are supposed now to be His slaves, but amazingly He is magnanimous to share His birth right with His slaves by making us children of God. What a great love!

Wow! After all of these years, I finally understand why, when Jesus was praying in the garden, he prayed “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.” It was the cup he skipped during the Passover.

When you read all of Hebrews chapter 5, you will come to understand the Cup of Our Salvation came through THE CUP OF YAHshua's Horrors of Separation from the Bright Presence of The Father as the Two of THEM had ALWAYS BEEN TOGETHER AS ONE (Verse 7).

​@@TikvahHaI know this comment was 3 years ago, but hopefully you understand by now. He did not drink the "cup of wrath" at the Passover meal. The elements of the meal are symbolic. When He prayed that the cup would pass from Him, He wasn't asking for the symbol (physical cup) to pass from Him. He was asking for the real thing to pass from Him, but the answer was that there was no other way. The cup did not pass from Him. He "drank" the cup of wrath during His trials, beatings, and crucifixion.

Amir is a Tunesian name. So don't be fooled. He's not a rabbi and he's not Jewish. He can't be Jewish anyway because he believes in Jesus. And a Jew cannot believe in Jesus [as being God].

Wow this was so awesome. I knew some of it but when Amir put Jesus in the Passover the way he did the whole story became so very clear, more than it was before. There is something so different about this Passover/Resurrection Day this year (2020) that makes it so much more meaningful & it's not just because of the virus. A rich, beautiful and moving presentation Amir, thank you. I sang Daiaynoo with Marty, and when we came to the verse about Yeshua, I was moved to tears. I was very blessed to be part of a Passover Seder with the Celebrate Messiah Messianic Jewish community here in Melbourne Australia about 12 years ago. I still have the Haggadah. The illumination that they brought out, the rich meaning of each part has stayed with me. The striped and pierced unleavened bread in particular. Catholic communion with its white round wafers completely misses the point, as they do with everything else. I'm grateful that my ancestors rejected Catholicism as soon as God showed Himself to them (the Reformation), and that precious thread of faith in Jesus that God has preserved through the generations is precious to me. The Jewish insights make it even richer, and irresistible. Thank you again.
