@@nextgeneration4660 I hope so, I missed her 'On My Own' concert on 20th of March 2022 due to the load shedding and the internet going off line.I would prefer to go to one of the super markets or shopping malls where one can buy your ticket an come away with it in your hand.The to and frowning of buying a ticket on line,is not for me.I wish that the people who organise the ticket sales would realise that the internet does go off at times and that there is such a thing as load shedding,I don't mind paying a service fee to by a ticket from one of the outlets, selling tickets to events.I was extremely upset at missing out on Amira's concert, as I only live a little over an hours drive to the theater.I hope to have better luck the next time.Go well,Kind reguards from,Michael Jonathan Lewis,Johannesburg, South Africa.

Thanks. That was a great introduction to Amira for anyone new to her.. The fabulous orchestras which she sings with lift her singing to it's best. I agree with you that she has great respect for them and the choirs as well. Like yourself I have been following Amira for a long time. I have watched all her videos countless times but no matter how often I do so I am still always stunned by , not only her voice, but also her extraordinary stage presence.. she is so at home on stage and knows exactly how to weave her performance part with whatever musicians and choir are behind her. There's absolutely no sense of 'I'm the diva here'. She shows great respect for her own talent in that way, just being part of the whole performance with all the others onstage and behind stage. A very humble person.

@@nextgeneration4660 i thought it didn't look right. i took 5 yrs of French some 55 yrs ago, but i still remember some. i am from very northern NY state (USA) near the southern border of Ontario & Quebec, Canada along the mighty St Lawrence River. i was born and raised in Massena right across the border of Cornwall, Ontario province. Most reactors don't give the first part but this would provide newcomers with a sample of her operatic voice as well as classic crossover. Her best O Mio Babbino Caro is probably with Andre Rieu when she was 10. Nessun Dorma (CIG 2017), and The Flower Duet with Corlea Botha (sung in French) might appeal to you on future occasions.

Your reaction is great and to the point. However i don,t agree with you on one point. Amira clearly can sing amazing without a orchestra. Just listen to her Gesu Bambino version . It is a STUNNING, OUT OF THIS WORLD UNIQUE PERFORMANCE by just Amira and her father on the church organ. She will blow your socks off.

And it looks like she just came in her church with her coat still on in street clothes, no elaborate sparkly dress, no grand orchestra, no mic, no crowd - just her an her dad quietly playing in background. The more i listen to this, the more amazed i am of her God-given talent and divine humility and grace. And she sings in the universal language for all to cry tears of joy and beauty.
