Those instruments are Bagpipes. They are closely associated with Scotland, though other countries have versions too. Amira is fantastic. I've heard these clips a lot but they never fail to move me. So beautiful.

She a extrodanay singer and a wonderful human being. She taught herself to sing opera from utube and entered and won Holland's got talent at age 9. No voice training. She used her winnings to build and maintain playgrounds for poor children in South Africa She's frends with Alma Doutcher and thay have performed together. In fact the first time any part of Almas opera Cinderella was publicly performed it was a duet with Alma and Amera Alma was 10 Amera 11. Amera is allso.a good athlete and won 2 marathons.

Amira's last name is pronounced as if the W were an English ""V" . The bagpipes are Scottish. Amira is Dutch. She won the sixth season of Holland's Got Talent in 2013 at age 9. She now lives in South Africa, the site of the concert. She is 17. Her birthday was March 27, 2004. The song is English. It was written by a former captain of a slave ship. Grace is a theological concept. In the U.S. the song is often sung at the funerals of policemen, partly I suppose because many police used to be drawn from the Irish who are closely related to the Scottish & who also play the bagpipes & because the song has become associated with Scotland at least for many Americans.
