A lot of her ability to sustain those high notes comes from her training as a long distance cross country runner. She was running 10K and 15K races when she was 7 and 8 years old. Her lung power is just incredible.

Amira is one of several child talents that were discovered largely due to the producers of "got talent" shows worldwide actively searching for child singers because of the massive popular response to Jackie Evancho on America's Got Talent in 2010. Jackie actually texted Amira after her first appearance on Holland's Got Talent, and they are still keeping in touch, and supportive of each other. I would love to see you react to a performance by Jackie. There are many to choose from, and you can not go wrong no matter which you pick, I have seen and enjoyed all of them. "Lovers" the title song from the Chinese movie "House of Flying Daggers" is noteworthy both because of Jackie's amazing singing, and the whole production of the video by David Foster.
