@Chrissie 1950 Amira could reach F6 when she was 12, and Eb6 when she was 13, with no sign of effort; from then until about a year ago, she did not go above C6, because (I understand) the danger period for female voices is their 14th and 15 th years - i.e. the early part of puberty. She continued to sing through that period, under the guidance of her vocal coaches, because that is less risky than stopping; now she is starting to use her range again, but her appearances have usually been at least a fortnight - sometimes a month - apart. She has the type of voice in which the lower range "comes in" first after puberty; I think her upper register is still coming in, and we will not know what her final range will be until she is about nineteen. Voices do not "wear out"; they may accumulate scar tissue which results in a loss of the high range - but Amira recently hit E6, so there is no sign of that. I think she is very well advised and also knows what she can safely do; so I think you need not worry.

I am very glad she acknowledges the appreciation of her audiences with courtesies rather than bows. Nowadays, most female artists do a male bow, which lacks the feminine beauty of a courtesy, which is especially beautiful when given in a flowing gown.

John D Johnston here. I have been following. Amira's career for some time now .She, along with other child stars such as Laura Bretan, Axcel Rykvin and others. They are gifts of God to all the people of the world. In this time of the covid-19 pandemic, mayhap we should listen to them and the words of the sacred songs they sing. I may be going way out of line here, but I think all of these children are very very special. I cannot really choose a favorite among... them, though Amira's humanitarianism has heavily influenced me. I unexpectedly came across Amira's Christmas Medley 2019 this afternoon, the day after the Holiday. which was my 95th observance of same. What a precious gift it was!. I am so blessed to have been able to see and hear this performance. The church venue made it all the more impactful. Acknowledging her father was especially moving. Tears flowed.

She always makes my heart smile. Never, ever tire of her angelic voice. My only issue is that she has started to do the same as so many young performers do.....place the microphone directly in front of her mouth blocking the view of her singing. If anyone with her entourage is reading these comments please pass on to her to lower the microphone and let the sound engineer adjust the microphone as needed. The top of the mic should never be higher than her shoulders.

@@RayVandenburg Just a word of care on this subject, because Amira already knows how to sing wtih the microphone well away from her face. In this video of her at a school concert in March 2018, you can see her continually adjusting the position of the microphone according to the pitch and volume of the note she is singing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqfWmaaiZ65nfNk Might it not depend on the characteristics of the microphone, and/or amplification, and/or recording? This is an experienced singer. Tread delicately, I think, raising the question of her microphone technique. But I support the sentiment, better not to have her face covered.

@@patrickchambers5999 Yes, that would be a good idea; however, she was probably using a "super cardioid" microphone here, similar to the ones used by all the artists at the "Classics" concerts, probably because this type has the best signal-to-noise ratio; but it has to be held very close to the mouth to work correctly.

@@dafyddllewellyn6636 Unless the "super cardioid" has an extremely small heart shaped major lobe there should be no reason to hold it so close to her mouth. It's major advantage over a cardioid microphone is greater side rejection, not so much of a problem for a solo singer isolated on stage.
