ALLTY5 is so underrated, the only reason it’s not his best imo however is just the fact that there’s no hype songs other than trip McKnight. The album was basically released without any of his anticipated teasers, Gobblegumz, soda & black ops were good examples

I will say the "issue" with Love Letter 5 is that it's MOSTLY an RnB album. So people who want that "Yoooo Trippie turn me up 🔥🔥" are NOT going to get that. If anything, Trip At Knight is SUPER out of place because (like you said), it's the ONLY song on the album that sounds like that. Another slight issue is that some songs don't even sound like Trippie Redd (like "The Hate" and "Praying 4 Love")

So because it's mostly a slow RnB album. People who love Love Letter 3 and Love Letter 4 are going to get to this and go "nahhhh, keep this project".
