That was definitely not a very good sales person quality however, the whole mom comment I think was good. From my experience in retail, people don’t want to just hear, “Yeah! That looks great!” for everything. People want honesty. Of course it depends the customer. There are some people who just want to hear that they look good but then there are some that are only going to buy things if you’re honest with them and let them know what’s more flattering and what’s less flattering. Y’know?

All Amish people are allowed to leave at a certain age to experience the world for a bit although probably not highly promoted it is allowed so then when they remain in the coummunity it is by choice and not force! Claudia is just being friendly and trying to make these girls feel as comfortable as possible since it’s their first time ever being in this situation. there’s nothing wrong with her hyping these girls up and trying to make them feel confident about themselves while enjoying life. in my opinion it’s better to have someone so upbeat and ready to help you than to have someone who has no interest in helping you out when you’re clueless shopping.
