Hello, brother. It is not recommended to polish the top aread of the dashboard. The shine that comes after polishing makes the top area shine while driving in the Sun and its reflection is cast on the windscreen making driving difficult during the Sun. That is why that part of the dashboard is always painted Matt Black so that it doesn't cause a reflection. If dashboard gets dirty, just wipe the dust of using a dry microfibre cloth. It works fine.
