Most videos on vibrato stress that the motion is from the hand and not the wrist. I don't think you are saying that that is not true but only that the grandparent vibrato is another way or perhaps just an exercise on the way to the classic vibrato. I'd appreciate an explanation of where the granpa vibrato is in the fuller context. Thanks.

Can anyone explain what is the word Amit says when you go back down the scale? It sounds like he's saying "peets". I haven't heard that elsewhere. I assume it's a word for shifting back. Thanks :) Great video on vibrato. I'm now practicing it. Thanks Amit!
