Nice video. The title precisely gives the scope of the video. Just a finer point on the name, Aaditya: Rishi Kashyapa and one of his three wives Aditi, had twelve sons. They're all called Aaditya [ meaning, son(s) of Aditi ]; Sun is one of them [ a.k.a Savitur ]. Please correct the typo in the title: " ... its solar ... " - Not, " ... it's solar ... " In the future, I'll look for a new Amit Sengupta video on Aditya-L1's scientific mission(s) on solar corona, chromosphere - highlighting what NASA, ESA have not done so far - and how ISRO's mission is unique/distinct. Thanks.

*Sir, how about revolving Sun from L1 position of Venus or Mercury? It will be more nearer to Sun.... If the Voyager can transmit data from God knows how far so why we can't send one near Venus or Mercury.....?*

It cannot sustain the temperature at mercury or venus. So it is bad idea to place at L1 of Venus or Mercury
@sarbjitkaur7784
@sarbjitkaur7784 Жыл бұрын
Distance between earth and Venus keeps on changing as they are revolving at different speeds around sun. Putting spacecraft in Lagrange point of Venus will make it difficult to send signals whereas when spacecraft at Lagrange point of earth it is at relatively stable position with respect to both sun and earth.
@toons640

Because Sun is called Aditya and the point in space where the spacecraft is to be placed is called the L1 point after 'Lagrange'
