Do not forget guys!! Magma that cools down in the crust is Plutonic Igneous Rocks and if it cools down on the surface it's volcanic igneous rocks.

Don't call the unfoliated rock as ugly. Its beautiful in its own way. You probably aren't able to appreciate its beauty. That being said.. your explanations are terrific. Good job.

I would like to correct you : lithosphere is combination of crust and uppermost mantle , and asthenosphere is made up of upper mantle so it will be better if you distinguish between upper most mantle and upper mantle in the figure explaining earth’s interior

Absolutely brilliant good teacher so I want to know qus Quartz rocks belong to which one
@jameswoods4134
@jameswoods4134 4 жыл бұрын
Rocks are made up of a variety of crystals that we call minerals. The identity of each rock depends on what minerals are in it and what condition they are in. Quartz is one of these minerals. It can be found in many different kinds of rocks, including rocks that are igneous, sedimentary, or metamorphic. Quartz is a very common and important mineral contained in almost every rock that you see. Sometimes its crystals are large, sometimes they are so small that you cannot see it with your eyes.
