i got an error when i type the "create databases amitdb;" they said you have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'databases amitdb' at line 1, what should i do then?

that itself means that youd did not uninstalled it completely. Even if a single part of MySQL remains in your system, then that can create errors.
