I think it's interesting how Amity's voice goes from more growl-like to more collected, less like she's forcing herself to sound aggressive to appeal to her parents. The "I'm a blight" speech likewise seems like her relaying what her mom said. As does her calling a teacher "Mom". All about commands.

I love seeing how Amity developed as a character. She was always obsessive and driven (because her mom made her be that way) but the massive shift between the first few episodes and Eclipse Lake is so huge. Going from obsessively trying to be the best at something she's TOLD she needs to be the best at, to trying to be the best at something she WANTS to be the best at. I love it, this show is so good!

Easily the best character in the show. So many good lines. A bunch of my favorites didn't even make it into the video. Just off the top of my head: "You made me look like a fool in front of the emperor's coven, my future. You think it's so easy to be a witch. I have been working my whole life to get to the top. You LOST! You CHEATED! Say it! Say your not a witch!" - (Covention) Made me dona complete 180 on her character. "We can't go in there.
