Hello. It is livable. Also, It depends on your lifestyle. Now that I've been with the company for more than 5 years, my salary is much higher than when I started. However, even when I was new, I could go out and enjoy bar hopping. Please try applying and I wish you all the best.

@@Lone_Star86 I've been living in Akashi ever since I started working in Japan. I have no comparison because I've never lived in another city. I would say any city in Hyogo area. Kobe area is also amazing because it's like the heart of hyogo ken. Lots of restaurants, bars, etc. It's also about 30 minutes away from Osaka (by train)

I have been putting off teaching in Japan because of the living costs (I want to save) Which company would you recommend applying to which is for ALT work and not Epik? Also is there room for progression career in the company your working, would be nice to stay in 1 place rather than going from job to job 🙏

@@Lone_Star86 salary-wise. Amity Corporation (English conversation teacher) offers higher starting rate as compared to other English conversation schools. ALT (if you will be hired by a dispatch company) offers lower starting salary (ranging from 200,000 yen to 225,000). Their workload is not as busy as an English conversation teacher, but I think you can work part time. If you enjoy going from one school to another, or teacher at different schools in a week, then ALT is for you . If you wanna earn and save money, I would recommend to apply as an EIKAIWA or English conversation teacher.

Hello. Based Sa experience po , Kung NASA Japan ka na Ng mahire ka, it's ok. Pero if from the Philippines ka, at ihohouse ka Nila Sa apartment na para Sa amity teacher Sa area na mapupuntahan Mo, tapos po tatanggihan Mo, Hindi na po Nila sasagutin ung transportation Mo(Kung need Mo magcommute from house to amity). Kasi po ang mga apartment na pinaglalagyan Sa foreign teachers eh supper accessible Sa workplace, at Sa IBA pang lugar like supermarket 　etc

During my batch, (third batch) medical check up ko lang po saka mga pamasahe papunta manila Ang ginastos ko. May batches noon na nagbayad ng Bond ( may mga Hindi kasi nagtapos ng contract, mga teachers na ginastusan ng Amity para nakapunta sa Japan, pero bigla nagdecide na Hindi nila kaya, etc .. if matapos ni teacher ung first contract , ibabalik yung bond). For now, I am not sure if may ganun na pa rin. Pero sa batch namin ,Wala po kami binayaran sa agency or Kay amity
