My First Ever Balloon Ride - Pamukkale - Türkiye (4K)

Yes my first ever hot air balloon ride and I did in Pamukkale in Türkiye
Pamukkale famous for its ancient Roman spa city of Hierapolis and thermal pools but during my 2 day stay I was tempted to take a balloon flight.
Great decision 😊
Our flight was cancelled on the previous morning due to high winds but on the 2nd morning the weather was perfect.
Early start we were collected at 5.15am - we were staying in the town of Pamukkale so only 10 minutes from the takeoff site.
Got to say the whole operation was professional from start to finish & safety is obviously the main concern.
The video doesn’t show it but it is dark and only really brightens up just before you are landing.
A great experience & happy I did it.
We booked the balloon via our hotel & paid 60euros each - approx £52 each.
The flight lasted approximately 50 minutes.

As far as know they fly everyday but subject to weather being good. Our first flight was cancelled as too much wind so this was done on the 2nd day.

Hello, we arranged with hotel and it cost approximately £50 per person. Pamukkale is a small place and there are many agencies selling excursions including the balloon ride.

Do you have to pay pamukkale entry fees if you just want the balloon ride?

No you just pay one fee for the balloon 🎈
