If you can’t trust your girlfriend to be faithful to the relationship then you need to talk about it or break up. The answer isn’t to move under a bridge with her to watch her like a hawk 247. It will only be toxic and perpetuate a toxic relationship of distrust and control. Trust is the backbone of a relationship. Without trust a relationship has no foundations.

Dontae, you and your girlfriend will soon die. Your story and my daughter and her fiance's story is exactly the same. One wouldn't Go into recovery without the other one because they didn't want to leave the other one alone on the street. Finally they did get into a halfway together ended up relapsing together all within a week and my daughter died 4 months ago today and her fiance is absolutely devastated. He is by himself and calls me and cries about every day and he knows if he doesn't stop using soon he will die too but I think that's exactly what he wants. Dontae, if you ever loved your parents even for a bit please do whatever it takes to get help You can't get your girlfriend clean. I'm an addict in recovery and I couldn't even save my own daughter. I'm sorry to sound harsh but excuses will only get you dead My daughter died in a Taco Bell parking lot where she was living for a couple of days after the halfway house.

You sound like I feel about the death of my son. Some days I’m not even able to find empathy for these people because I’m not over being angry at him for being an alcoholic and not caring enough to live.

I wish more people would understand just because they're family doesn't mean they're necessarily your friend. Even though emotional abuse is sometimes an invisible war between two people, doesn't mean it doesn't hurt just as much I was being punched in the face. I encourage you to start writing again, you are incredibly intelligent and have a lot of things to say. ❤

Maybe your girlfriend didn't tell your parents out of spite. Maybe she loved you and wanted to get you help. It's real hard to find the right way to help an addict, they are so very manipulative. And it's always an argument. So very draining, the lies, the anger and hostility. Also the trust issues. Just a way to keep doing what you are doing. Keep blaming and you will never have to take a good look at what you are doing. Try being real and loving your family and look at what you are doing to them. Too many games you all play.

I suggest Dante get out of there g/f or not. You can do better put yourself first period. If your g/f can’t change than you be the change turn to Jesus he’s always with you rather you believe it or not. Get the demons out of your life! You can change your lifestyle if you truly want to. Never mind your past traumas. Moved forward seek the help if you want freedom from addiction.

I feel like it’s the grossest high you could have. Antsy, wiry, paranoid and anxious not to mention the anger. It’s so dirty and made with such harsh chemicals… it’s literally poison. A beautiful high would be mushrooms. Lmao
