I dont know if you will read this comment , In Kashmir tourists are scammed , when you are purchasing anything if they say 1000 say 200 and they will give you. There is a huge margin and whatever you spend in Kashmir the money doesnot go to the development of kashmir and government. It goes to promote different activities. Its a beautiful place no doubt but dont get cheated there. That place people will cheat no matter what.
