Just curious my brother - did the screen brightness ever dim? If you were to play at full brightness from the beginning, would it have dimmed? I always start out playing call of duty mobile with maximum brightness on my 15 pro max, and it always dims withing 10 minutes. Curious how fast the 16 pro would dim if you played at maximum brightness!

You can lesson this by using a phone cooler the 16 has refinements to the cooling functions of the phones internals that prob help with this

speaker is not a main contributor to device temperature. thats the a18 pro doing all that. power draw/battery life is impacted, but not heat/thermals

The beginning map of genshin ( mondstadt) didn't affect any heating issues than others region. Even my midrange phone ( android) can run smoothly without heating issues.

@@1milkybee there's no 120 fps option on android because apple pays hoyoverse to optimize the game for their platform i think oneplus pays them as well some midrange devices have these pixelworks co-processors tho which can interpolate up to 120 frames (obviously not real frames) i also have a midrange phone and it runs at about 50 fps highest preset (lower res apparentely tho)

@@1milkybee while that is defintely true and the iphone runs at a higher resolution too it does throttle to around 70-80fps after a few minutes (dametech showcased this) battery life is still more important tho imo

@@niveZz- There’s also the graphics (other than the resolution of the game) which where set as the absolute highest on this iPhone here, and even with the highest settings it was performing at 70-80 fps which is genuinely quite impressive. I had a midrange android before and it was struggling really bad to do low graphics 60 fps, and since then genshin has received some graphic updates, too

Bro U had wifi & cellular on while doing these tests...those are major factors...wifi draws less power but if you have the cellular on it still draws power even if its not active...headphones / airpods cut the battery draw as well once you connected to them...

Tbf, this seems more like a real-world use case. Most people would just open the app and start playing. As opposed to turning off wifi/cellular and/or connecting any bluetooth device prior to playing(or any other form of optimization). Yes this is a test, but it’s probably closer to the typical user experience - which is what we want

the Pro max is way better at this , in terms of battery life, that's the main advantage of the 16 pro max over a 15 pro max , the rest is similar in feels (+ i noticed the bigger screen is not that big, just taller but i keep noticing it each time i grab it compared to my 15 pro max. and heat dissipate better and is cooler.

So in conclusion, iPhone 16 pros A18 pro chip is 20% more efficient than the 15 pros A17 and has 9% increased battery but still ends up with the exact same battery life like ur previous video with 15 pro. What a shame, Apple tunes these batteries to be bad with time so u will go and buy a new phone even tho they’re more capable. I watched this because my 16 pros battery is absolutely crap that was supposed to be good this time. Don’t buy the 16 pro guys you will only be happy if you coming from an older model that isn’t really comparable.
