I seriously can't wait for your complete Millenium Falcon painting tutorial, sad that it couldnt be a Bandai, but even a full video build of the finemolds is going to be so good from you. Also it should attract alot of viewers since TFA arrived and people are getting into the falcon again. And you and Helgan35 seems to be the best finescale painters on youtube but none of you have done a full video series on the 1/144 scale falcon yet :)

+Michel Bondo Hansen Thanks! I will be filming the paint job on the FM Falcon, but not the build part (there's not much to show). I would do the Bandai Falcon but prices are going up now for importing it, and besides, that woudl require free time for my own builds :)

Sounds great, and its sad about the import prices. Painting part is the part we want to see, the building shouldnt be too hard since you always have the manual and there isnt much personal preference in that. So looking forward to the painting :)

Fantastic tutorial as always Foxx lad! I got that book at Christmas, and it's brilliant, there's some very good tips in there for beginners and us old farts alike. I might have to try some of these washes now, I've had an eye on them for a while, and the fact you've said they don't smell too bad is definitely a selling point. NUMBER JOHNNY FIVE! Also, clean gundam!? I felt a strange tremor in the force then!!! Shame about that knee joint though, it kinda looks like my real life knee now lol Those pink scratches REALLY made that foot pop, beautiful!!! That silver mig paint looks the same consistent as Vallejo model air too - perfect for brushing with :) I'd forgotten how big that kit was... So many big bits!!! HE'S GOT GRUBBY KNEES! I wouldn't say the torso was too fussy though, it looks alreet does that!!! For a first attempt at brush-chipping, you've pretty much nailed that amigo! MOAR PLZ!!! Also, thanks for the shout - you aren't gonna let me forget the spillages are you?

When you did the parts with the lips, as opposed to the lines, was it just a matter of letting capillary action do the work? I've not had any success doing that with normal pin washes that I mix up at home.

Seriously where do you buy the klear product from...last time I tried amazon I received a bog standard floor cleaning product not the klear version. Maybe this is something emodels could stock?

Excellent vid.. Just subbed... What scale is the kit?
@gurufoxx
@gurufoxx 8 жыл бұрын
+pmrize It's 1/48 scale, which is perfect if you want to add a diorama with figures, props, structures or scenery :)
@pmrize
@pmrize 8 жыл бұрын
Excellent, thanks dude... do you buy direct from Japan or would you advise to stick to UK suppliers? i have a huge stash of !980 Gundam kits.. Neofam.. L-Gaim.. ZZ etc etc and your vid has inspired me to crack one open... currently working on 1/35 Ma.k/ Metal Fake Ishtar mash-up...

+pmrize Well, currently eModels don't carry Gunpla (which is why I didn't show the build part of this video build, that's on my channel) but I have planted the seed in their GRATE BRANES and told them how awesome Gunpla are so you never know ^_^ As to where you can get them for now, it wouldn't be right for me to do that on their channel so pop me a message or comment on my channel somewhere :)

can dust effects and pigments be replaced by soft pastels?
@emodelsuk
@emodelsuk 5 жыл бұрын
Yes, they can, although being dry then do not always grip as well to the model, so will absolutely need fixing in place!
