What shines thru in all of this guys video walkthroughs is he really knows what he's talking about, you can tell he has lived and worked on these boats for years and really knows how it all works. If you have the money for a Nordhavn you would fly him over to Australia for the pre purchase inspection & a couple of training days for you to learn the ropes.

@@peterwaugh9416 You're spot on there. Perhaps he would be part of the initial purchase process. But what if he suggests redoing the roof panels, upgrading systems, etc? We'd need his workshop and staff. My daydream still sees me sailing to the US, with following winds and sea, miraculously bypassing Covid quarantine, staying in Florida for a couple of months, while he completely overhauls the boat as he sees fit. I also tend to daydream my cheque book has a cape and wears it's underwear on the outside...

As fascinating as the boat and the tour of it was....I was more fascinated with how the tour guide was always standing on one leg when the camera wasn't on him for long periods of time. I used to do that as a kid to relieve stress on my back and hips when standing for a long time. I remember seeing Australian Aboriginies doing that in National Geographic magazines and on TV long ago and one day I tried it when my back was getting tired and it worked. I'm not sure if that's why they, or he, did it but it sure helped me. As for the boat....that is a fine boat. In the past I could never get behind a "trawler" style yacht over the more traditional designs but Nordhavn really forces a person to rethink that. When the funds are finally available...it's going to be a really tough choice.
