Honestly a well constructed video, informing well informed research on the ammonites and the evolutionary story of them while making the story feel more fictional tale like that gives the ammonites character and personality while giving real context to their story and keeping the viewer entertained as well, well done honestly

I'm glad you enjoyed my video and understood my approach to creating content. To be honest, there are often people who don't like my descriptive style, as they find it not professional enough. While I'm not a professional paleontologist and just pursue this as a personal hobby, I feel that bombarding viewers with a bunch of professional terms that might not interest the general audience doesn't contribute much to spreading knowledge. Thanks again for your support.

Unfortunately, evolution can be brutal...

The research seems to be thorough and chronologically broad, very interesting to see the long evolutionary timeline. The third person projection, of the subjects, self-psychoanalysis and deific prediction was, alas, a little wearing. Your research and video holds water (intended) without flights of fancy. I liked it very much, and an edited script may be worth while. Bringing it up to Henry the PaleoGuy (recommended). With genuine respect......

I'm sorry, my video script is not very good. English is not my native language, and my English is not very strong either. I'm just trying to make English videos to improve my language skills. As for what you said about Henry the PaleoGuy, I'll need to research how to set it up.

I use a storytelling approach to personify my research subject, making it more accessible and understandable, rather than using dry academic language.

Most of my fossil collections are ammonites.

The fossil of the ammonite is indeed beautiful, a miracle of creation, second only to... the fragments of a Homo erectus skull.HAHAHAHAHA

Just think, that if they had survived , how much money they would have made from their old shell fossils.Sorry Maggie.

An interesting viewpoint. Is there any scientific basis or relevant research papers? I would like to take a look

I was rooting for the ammonites the whole video. The ending was so disappointing 😭

Oh my friend, the story of evolution is so brutal. Numerous species have disappeared into history and become the fossil record of strata. We can only guess at the splendor of a species from these surviving fragments. Of course, there are also bleak endings.

A little harsh. Constructive may be better, a great deal of work seems to have gone into this project.

Ammonites = Cephalopods "The group Cephalopoda is divided into three subgroups: coleoids (including squids, octopuses and cuttlefishes), nautiloids (the nautiluses) and ammonites. Ammonites' shells make the animals look most like nautiluses, but they are actually thought to be more closely related to coleoids."
