Larry, you've done it again! another timely video on how to correct something that's been wrong with one of my cars! first it was the "love mark" correction that is now corrected on our '55 Buick from my wife's grandfather. And now the water spots on the window will be corrected on my '96 Impala SS! Keep doing what you do the best. Thanks Larry!!

Hello - I have had good results on removing or softening watermarks with vinegar. Apply it on a cloth or directly on the glass with spay bottle. Sometimes it does the trick, sometimes not, but it will always make the following phases easier.

Larry inspired me to do a super in depth detail and paint correction to my daily driven car. I spent a whole weekend on it. I was very happy with the end results but I was whooped. How he does this type of stuff day in and day out is almost more impressive than the cars themselves.

Back when I used to work at a dealership, we would sometimes remove water spots from windows by putting some cutting compound on a piece of steel wool. Then spray glass cleaner on the window which will act as a lubricant. I would use light pressure and go in a circular motion making sure the glass is well lubricated. It is more work but you can get into the tighter areas such as the edges and corners of the glass.
