Saw these guys at San Diego State in the 80's. Met them at a Laundromat after, bought them some beer and hung out. They signed their LP for me, wish I knew what happened to that LP. Thanks Guys for a truly unique concert.

Yes, I was the short guy up front near the stage with the ponytail. At the time I was working for the City of Chula Vista at the tourist info center. I didn't even have a car. I had to walk about 4 miles to get to downtown to catch the trolley to E St. Trolley station. (Where the Tourist Info Center was back then) and used my key to get in and sleep on the floor in the storage room that night so I could get to work on time.

Heard this back, left of the dial, on some college radio station when it was released, and I tracked the vinyl down in a college-town record store and it became the first track on my car cassette mixtape. Then I switched the record player speed so that it played somewhere near half-speed and recorded the opening that way and added it to the mixtape. Because it was, then as now, perfect, it was, of course, great slowed down.

I met David Lowery at a Dweezil Zappa concert , Cool guy, I didnt know who he was initially because he was drunk off his ass. He went and asked Dweezil where he could find a good Pizza Place so that he could get something to eat, Dweezil told him a place somewhere near the venue and he told Dweezil his opinion on Pizza sucked and walked away, His favorite Frank Zappa album is One Size fits all btw, I found that out that night
