To anyone who's confused about the ending of the video: The guy who won the fight was supposed to take a dive but it went against his pride as a fighter, so in the second half, he came back swinging, knocked the other guy out and got shot for it. But he died on his own terms, being true to his own warrior spirit... That's the way of the viking.

"The Way Of Vikings" Whirling dust in morning air Two warriors in the ring With the strength of two great bears They make their weapons sing Sparks fly high when steel meets steel And no one can believe That these two men are best friends Not enemies They lash out with ferocious force The fight grows more intense But each avoid the other's sword As if by seventh sense Their muscles ache, their bones are sore But none of them will yield They fight a two-man practice war As enemies Faster! Stronger! Fight until your dying breath! Fiercer! Harder! This is a matter of life and death! Full on fight in training It's the way of vikings Every muscle straining It's the way of the Jomsvikings These men aim to shatter It's the way of vikings This is how we battle It's the way of the Jomsvikings Whirling dust in morning air Two warriors in the ring With the strength of two great bears They make their weapons sing Sparks fly high when steel meets steel And no one can believe That these two men are best friends Not enemies Sun beats down with intense heat The swordsmen start to break Pain shoots through their tired feet With every step they take In this fight of iron wills One man takes a knee The other goes for the kill Like an enemy Faster! Stronger! Fight until your dying breath! Fiercer! Harder! This is a matter of life and death! Full on fight in training It's the way of vikings Every muscle straining It's the way of the Jomsvikings These men aim to shatter It's the way of vikings This is how we battle It's the way of the Jomsvikings!

The work of a composer lives from the gaze that is given to it. It is not limited to what it is, nor to the one who produced it, it is also made by the one who hears it. I've been a dedicated metal head for over 30 years and I'm ashamed to say I'd never listened to amon amarth before,3 days later after giving them a try I now own all their albums and they are incredible. Makes me want to build a longship and go exploring distant lands for treasure's. The songs make you do a metal mouth and want to attack chavs outside Asda.

Lyrics: Whirling dust in morning air Two warriors in the ring With the strength of two great bears They make their weapons sing Sparks fly high when steel meets steel And no one can believe That these two men are best friends Not enemies They lash out with ferocious force The fight grows more intense But each avoid the other's sword As if by seventh sense Their muscles ache, their bones are sore But none of them will yield They fight a two-man practice war As enemies Faster Stronger Fight until your dying breath! Fiercer Harder This is a matter of life and death! Full on fight in training It's the way of vikings Every muscle straining It's the way of the Jomsvikings These men aim to shatter It's the way of vikings This is how we battle It's the way of the Jomsvikings Whirling dust in morning air Two warriors in the ring With the strength of two great bears They make their weapons sing Sparks fly high when steel meets steel And no one can believe That these two men are best friends Not enemies Sun beats down with intense heat The swordsmen start to break Pain shoots through their tired feet With every step they take In this fight of iron wills One man takes a knee The other goes for the kill Like an enemy Faster Stronger Fight until your dying breath Fiercer Harder This is a matter of life and death Full on fight in training It's the way of vikings Every muscle straining It's the way of the Jomsvikings These men aim to shatter It's the way of vikings This is how we battle It's the way of the Jomsvikings

I definitely miss buying an album (CD - nineties and noughties) and digging out the inlay, to sing along to each song via the lyrics and artwork. But it's still pretty fucking awesome watching this video on demand with the lyrics four comments down. WE FLEW TO THE MOON ON A POCKET CALC IN 69 and now we have a super computer in our hand. Whilst I'm on it, think about "nothing". I bet you can't. GG.
