I was recommended to this Progressive music band back in 1972 by the owner of record store on High Street around the Ohio State campus. I am now 70 years old and still enjoy them thoroughly. Incredible group of musicians. I reminisce about my days when I was 20 years old and would spend hours and different record stores filing through album covers and getting background from the owners about particular groups, and learning which FM stations would promote this type of music✌

Amon Duul ll is awesome . I listened to all of Frank Zappa's, Miles Davis's , David Bowies, CANs and Jimi Hendrix stuff . Amon Duul ll is intellectual stoner music but drug free freaky people will also enjoy it .

Amon Duul II was once Amon Duul, but split morphed into a totally different sound. I don't know why, but if you check 'Robert Calvert's' "STARFIGHTER" album Amon Duul I plays on it with ARTHUR BROWN TWINK AND HAWKWIND MEMBERS

Not positive but I think Amin Duul I was the less musically adept and experienced group. Both emerged from the same late 60s West German commune

Great performance!. I think I prefer the studio version of "Syntelman's march of the roaring 70's" instead of the live version (mostly because Karrer sings much better in studio than live; however, he does great on guitar). But awesome performance of "Soap shop rock" :-D. Thanks for the upload
