I've loved Amon Hen scenarios ever since they made a dual board and played two simultaneous and interconnecting games in White Dwarf back in the day. There's just something about the multiple objectives that makes it not just about killing that makes it a lot of fun. Great scenario, great game, great editing! Merry must have a very sore head after being picked up and thrown around so much.

would love to see an Amon Hen battle set, not that the old metal models are lacking but it'd be nice to get the whole package with a downed Boromir, Uruk carriers and maybe some scenery like the seat of seeing and the elven boats to mark the board edge. Also the two handed cleaver uruks.

Hi Zorpazorp and Lachie :) I gave up on the LOTR strategy battle-game when I was thirteen/ fourteen. I am now 28 (as of two weeks ago) and have rekindled my passion for it over the past month. I have to commend you and your endless enthusiasm. As a kid I never played the game (I was preoccupied with painting). I am now making plans to play games with friends, which wouldn’t have happened if not for your videos. I was able to share them with them and they are now looking forward to it. Ihave bought all rule books this month . I also watched several of your batch painting videos. I had to follow your lead to ensure I got my Moranon orcs up to standard and on the playing field, I am 20 hours into painting them so far (I am competing in my head with the 24 hr challneges you set) , and have learned so much from your videos. I’m sure you deal with messages like this often based on your KZbin content. However, I would be remiss if I did not thank you for the inspiration to pursue my hobby with the same gusto that you do.

Amazing production! Loved every single detail in this video, from the edits to the jokes, all around the video’s great, it’s so captivating. I usually have a problem sitting through a video that’s larger than 20 mins in one sitting, not with this one. The cherry on top for me were the edits with “might +1” and the potato Sam joke. Really great job, on top of that the terrain looked amazing! Makes me curious how you keep so many different scenario terrain pieces in your place, you must be blessed with a spacious garage! 😂

I usually don't watch your battle reports as the length puts me off starting. The title of this one tempted me in, and I watched it as bed time material over several nights and really enjoyed it! The time spent editing was definitely worth it, although it sets the bar high for future videos :p. I did notice a couple of minor mistakes in game play. Obviously very hard when thinking about filming and all that. Sometimes didn't back away Aragorn after losing a fight, and also did back some uruks away a full inch when they trapped Frodo, won the fight but didn't wound. Should only be 1mm backed away. I guess didn't matter as with the ring can run through them anyway :). Love the content and will keep my eyes peeled for the next!!

Couple of things: 1. I really loved the video. The production value is great. The big campaign poster-battles should be like that. The game itself was a nail biter as well. WOW! 2. BUT.... I feel at some point the "hobbits are getting picked up"-cutscene became a tad too much. 3. I frickin love that you changed the story now to Merry and Pip going with Frodo. Maybe you should play the "Ambush at night" scenario with Sam now. Gollum will not be happy about the new version of "Taming of Smeagol" though :D Keep it up!
