Welcome to Among Us! It's a simple deception game. As crewmates, we have to complete a set of tasks before the impostors can win. The impostors must sabotage and take out crew mates in order to stop them from completing their tasks. No communication is allowed during the actual rounds. Once a body has been discovered or an emergency meeting is called, we can discuss our accounts of what happened. Then we try to vote the likely impostors off the ship. This game is SO MUCH FUN. I didn't think that Imitator would be all that good when I first saw it, but the ability to bait evil guessers into taking the wrong shot is actually really powerful. It actually makes it so that crewmates are safer sharing information since the evil guessers will have difficulty determining if they were the actual role or the imitator.

Unless of course they were able to see the two Arso kills right after they died but based on prior knowledge on how they set the cooldowns for Arso, it is impossible for an Arso to douse two players and kill them in 15 seconds, but instead would have taken the entire time from when they started that game to when the meeting was called to arso kill two players.

I think a good solution to the Bomber Dispersal problem is for the mod makers to implement a check that prevents bombers from getting disperser. No idea how feasible that'd be, but given that EVERYONE is doing it means there's a clear balance issue with the strat that needs adjusting

It depends on how Town of Us is coded. Given that there are non-Crewmate modifiers (that, of course, being Disperser and Double-Shot), I'd expect that it shouldn't be tedious to implement.

Yeah, adding small cooldown to disperse when bomb is planted. Could be extended to be added when a kill is made even. Just for like 5 seconds or such.

What a wild session that was! We had illegal Werewolf wins, Bomber roulette gone wrong, and unfortunate Swooper dispersals, all of which were very entertaining! I also enjoyed what went right, like Ze’s Imitator/Trapper play helping to eliminate a killer, Moo clutching the win for the Impostors after Nogla blew himself up, Ze and Himi’s crew team-up, and Ze the Medic protecting Pasta from some unwarranted accusations! Even though these lobbies can be rather loud and chaotic, I’m glad Ze is still having fun here and providing us with excellent content! I will also never stop advocating for a ‘Third-Wheel’ win, which allows the Survivor to win with Lovers! XD

Windows PC "shutdown" no longer is a shutdown but what can be considered an improved snooze state. These days, the only way to have a PC to get the equivalent of a power cycle of the 90's and 00's is to hit restart.

The default setting in Windows shutdown is to save the Kernel state to main storage so that it can be loaded faster than loading the Kernel raw. It's like a mix between hibernation and true-shutdown, where leaving Fast Startup enabled saves the Kernel state. That said, you can actually change the setting so that the Kernel state is dropped for a true shutdown, but it's in the Control Panel and doesn't look like the UI has been touched since 2007.

It would be funny if there's a yandere role, you have another character that your obsessed with. They don't know who you are but you know who they are. If its with the lover's version, if you kill their lover you become their lover killer. Or if there's no lover's you kill everyone else who touches them or simply kill everyone but them and if they die you die.

I don't see why there should be any house rules at all. What, does it make the game "less fun"? So you don't want content? The disperse and bomb is a mechanic in the mod, if they didn't want it in the game, they wouldn't have added it.

House rules are implemented not just one persons sake, but for the whole group. It’s their decision as a group to make house rules so everyone can have fun. If bomb disperse happened every round, then it skews the results unfairly. What happens is the only content that’s made is from imposters, as crew mates die to fast. Only being able to upload footage of imposter games is crippling. Also, the mod makers may not have considered the disperse bomb tactic. I can’t agree or disagree on whether they like this method, so we will have to see if they change it or not. But yes, it does make the game less fun as a whole as only 2 people out of 12 enjoy being bomb dispersed per round. Really one person. The key to fun kill tactics is moderation.
