I was wondering do your fondant toppers have cmc or tylose powder in it?

@@ODY0319 Thanks! I only just learned about this game and I think it's super clever... Made for a pretty cool cake too.😆 And that would be a yes for your question, I did use a bit of tylose in the black and grey portions of the knife. I didn't for the bone but I should have, after an hour on the cake it started to fall off so I would add some to that as well.😉

Good question! There is a single 20 gauge flower wire running through the knife and out the tip which I stuck in the dead crew made to make it look like it was floating!

How did you make the backpacks and the bone? I also wish you would've shown your process for the crewmate for putting the legs together

The back pack was just a thick piece of fondant, but the bone was a mixture of fondant and cmc(tylose powder) with a toothpick stuck inside so I had somethytobanchor it to the cake with. As for the legs they were simple, just compact some rice crispy treats around two toothpicks for the dead crew members legs and use buttercream as glue at the contact points.

My kids love it too! They even pretend play it in the school yard at recess. It such a fun little game for sure😊

It is just hand molded from a small piece of fondant then a toothpick is inserted inside so it can be attached to the body. Hope this was helpful! Thank you for watching, I hope he loves his cake!🥰
