I started a Jester x Arson oneshot like 3 days after this came out. (These are their fanon names btw) ((Jester’s point of view)) Everyone was yelling annoyedly at me after I won the game. I was pretty good at playing the role that shares my name, but no one liked it when I won as a jester.. “I was just about to win! Why did you do this?!” Lud shouted. “How did I get tricked so easily?!” Britney exclaimed angrily, fire in her eyes. “So that’s why you didn’t report my body! I thought you were just stupid!” Duo yelled, his voice filled with annoyance. The only person not yelling was Arson. I didn’t know why, but when he got ejected, I was incredibly sad, and not just because it meant I didn’t get ejected. I felt like my heart broke. Whenever I logged off the game, I couldn’t stop thinking about him. His mask looked so cool, his horns matching his color so well. He was really kind, and weirdly attractive. What was I even thinking? He threw gasoline on me the other day! Why did I care about him so much? Maybe… “Oi, Jester! Quit staring into space!” Spy exclaimed. I shook off my thoughts. Everyone was looking at me, their faces seemingly filled with hatred. “Guys, stop bullying him because he won!” Arson interjected. I shifted my gaze to him, his posture was slightly angry, but his eyes softened when he looked at me. Everyone grumpily walked away from us, leaving Arson and I alone. “Hey, congrats on winning. That was pretty cool.” He said, standing very close to me. He was taller than me, making me feel uncomfortable yet safe. It was at that moment where my stomach flipped, and I realized what I was feeling. Did I seriously have a crush on him? “Uh, t-thanks.” I said nervously as he pat my head. “I saw you had a cool mask on during meetings. Did you make it?” he asked. “Y-yeah. I made it a while ago to look more like, well, a jester.”

I ran to comms, finding Britney and a very beaten up Jester. The imposter raised her knife, at which I pulled out my pistol. I aimed, and shot. Britney fell to the floor, dead. I managed to kill the imposter. “Jester!” I whispered. I rushed over to the injured crewmate, who’s eyes were still filled with fear. “Guys, I found him. He’s in comms, but we have to get to medbay immediately.” I exclaimed into my walkie talkie. “Sh-Sheriff?” Jester inquired, definitely in pain. “Yeah, it’s me. We gotta get you to medbay.” “I dunno if I can walk…” I sighed, picking him up. I hurried through the halls, Jester crying and holding onto me the whole time. He kept whispering phrases like “I’m scared” and “I don’t wanna die…” “You’re not gonna die, you’re safe now.” His breathing calmed down as I walked into medbay. Everyone was already there. “Oh my god…” Arson quietly exclaimed. Jester had a black eye, several bruises and cuts, and was bleeding in many spots, especially his right leg. “We should scan him, find out what else is wrong.” Spy suggested. We placed him on the scanner. It said he had multiple internal injuries, alongside the visible ones. Imposters are stronger than crewmates, so it made sense. The main focus was his leg. “What happened to his leg?” Duo asked. I rolled up his pant leg, seeing a horrifying sight. A huge bite mark. It was reminiscent of a shark bite, only with a lot more teeth marks. Jester winced in pain as Duo grabbed some first aid supplies. “Ok, we’ll have to disinfect the wound before we bandage it.” The maroon crewmate poured some hydrogen peroxide on a cloth as Jester gripped my hand. He wailed in pain as Duo rubbed the cloth on the wound. Arson and Spy pat his back to comfort the crying boy. His breathing was shaky as he held my arm. I got an idea. “Hey how about I tell some jokes to distract you?” I asked. “S-Sure.” Jester replied. “Ok, why did the chicken cross the road?” “Why?” “To get to the idiot’s house. Hey Spy, knock knock!” “Who’s there?” “The chicken.” Everyone laughed while Spy had a disappointed expression on his face. I smiled as Jester giggled. Seeing him scared broke my heart, and seeing him laugh repaired it. The way he covered his mouth while laughing was adorable. He was so cute, why would someone hurt him so badly? Out of all the imposters I’ve encountered, I’ve never seen one torture their victim before killing them before. Even though they were killer aliens, they had morals. They always made the death quick and painless. To know someone hurt this innocent sweetheart made my blood boil. I couldn’t get revenge on a dead person though. “All done!” Duo exclaimed, snapping me out of thought. “Do you need anything else?” I asked. “I am a little hungry I guess…” That reminded me of why we started searching for him in the first place. He was light, so it wasn’t that hard. “Jester, can I ask you something?” Arson inquired. Jester hummed in response. “What happened while we were looking for you?” He shivered. “B-Britney, she… she pulled me into comms by biting my leg, then she punched my eye… slit my arms with her knife, then was about to kill me when Sheriff shot her.” He was trembling as he spoke. I knew that feeling. Bad memories; they’re like glue. You can’t just get rid of them. Jester’s stomach grumbled, so I set him in his usual spot. Arson did the weird thing to do, use his fire powers to heat Jester’s food back up. It's odd how I'm the only one currently alive who doesn't have powers. Jester can teleport, Arson can create fire from nothing, Spy can go invisible, says it's hard to see when he is though, and Duo can turn into animals, mostly horses and cats. I couldn’t stop staring at Jester, blushing and smiling. He was special to me. When I first got on the Skeld, I didn't know anyone. I was insecure that people would judge me for being nonbinary, but they supported me. Jester supported me the most. He was silly and positive, yet cautious and kind. He's awesome, even with a black eye and bleeding leg. He eventually noticed me staring, at which I finally shook my head to snap myself out of thought. “S-sorry, zoned out.” I stammered. “While looking at me?” he inquired, making me blush. “I'm just kidding, we all do that.” I sighed in relief. We all left to go to bed, but I couldn't stop thinking about Jester. At some point I fell asleep, having random, short dreams. I woke up to my door opening in the middle of the night. “Hey Sheriff?” Jester’s soft voice asked. “Mind if i sleep in your room tonight?” I blushed. “Sure!” he laid on the bed beside me. “O-oh, you're sleeping next to me?” “What, did you expect me to sleep on the floor?” he replied jokingly. He snuggled against my chest, wrapping his arms around me. I felt like I was having a mini heart attack as he fell asleep, cuddling me like a stuffed animal. I hugged him back. Before I passed out I realized something I should have noticed earlier. I'm in love with him.
