Basically, the alternative is where all the dead characters are alive and the alive characters are dead from the original. Mini yellow being the exception. I suspect that the crewmates that got voted out in original trap will be alive in alternative if it really follows that line.

My theory: Original = Alternate ??? Maybe the device can "rewind" time. The Skeld crew may have tried to go back before the crewmates were turned into imposters. But something went wrong and it returned to the start of the series, instead. Reason: 1. There are bloodstains were Red, Blue, White died in original. (Maybe a glitch?) 2. Fortegreen/Olive shows unusual amount of interest in the device in alternate - tried taking it and knew its vote swapping ability (A faint "memory"?) 3. Rodamrix showed Original Season 2 to show what happened to MiraHQ, and tell viewers about Purpose Purple's family. Why did Rodamrix suddenly switch to Alternate Season 2, unless...? 4. Purple only found the device. We don't know its origin, or full potential.
