Amongst the bells of Maidstone (Take 2)

These are really a wonderful sounding 10, probably the best. The tenor is wonderful but the bells are very mellow and sound warm. I would love to sit in the church yard and listen to them. I have rung there in 1965 on a Whitechapel bell foundry outing.

Hi Ollie, it wasn't up wrong. It hasn't been rung down for months. You'd never set it if it was up wrong anyway

There being a clapper turner, I would highly doubt the local ringers would on purposely leave it up wrong for a QP!
