I came across a Facebook post about this story just today and I had to know more! This is a great podcast, probably the best one I've seen since I started searching. Many videos are very short with a horrible AI voiceover so it was refreshing to find this podcast. Thanks ladies, subscribed!

I don't like to fly either. I feel the same way, like walking towards surgery or an execution, etc. I find that a friendly talkative pilot helps. When boarding, sometimes, if you tell the pilot, they will accommodate and talk and banter while in flight 😊 it calms me.

They did studies with injuries of soldiers in the civil war and the soldiers in the field that had maggotts in their wounds fared better than the soldiers taken to the hospitals s or makeshift medical tents who often did get their limbs amoutistef
