Morbid A True Crime Podcast

Жыл бұрын

6 year-old JonBenet Ramsey was murdered December 1996 in her home in Boulder, Colorado. Her death remains a mystery to this day with various theories and suspects floating around, but never caught. Who killed this beautiful little girl? Who wrote the staged 2.5 page ransom note found in her home? When will answers finally arrive from a crime scene that was outrageously contaminated from the start? This is Part 1 of our revisit to this case where we talk about the girl behind the pageant photos, the crime and the autopsy that followed.

I don't want to defend Patsy, but a thought I have on the phone call is that Patsy called after being explicitly told not to, and the rush to hang up could have been her doing so after being caught making the call. But also, wanting the additional dialogue to be heard to set the stage makes sense.

@shanecashman6495

@@rebeccaflores6392 Yes!!. Most people think that it means Saved By The Cross. While being interviewed, John Ramsey was asked about the SBTC. John weren’t you stationed at Subic Bay Training Center??. He didn’t answer. So, again the question was asked to him. Again, silence from John. On the third time he says yeah, but it wasn’t called Subic Bay Trainic Center when I was their. So, we have S.B.T.C. at the end of the ransom note. Which IMO means Subic Bay Training Center. Also Victory was the name of one of the military ships. Subic Bay Training Center was were John Ramsey was stationed during his Naval training.

I have heard Patsy state that she had done her hair and makeup before she went downstairs. For someone whose appearance is important, it’s very possible that was her morning routine anyway. I’ve known people who are that put together. But especially that day since they were planning on going out of town. However, wearing the same clothing is perplexing. 🤔

A few of my big hang ups in the case is the long ransom letter, in it they say they can get her back alive but that's a lie. They also say don't call cops don't even look at a atray dog but they called cops and friends over. Finally there was a time they should've got a call about the ransom and that time came and went and neither parent seemed phased or concerned about it. That's just a few of my life top 10 what the flip flops things about this case.

A portion of that ransom note was found to be from the movie ransom the part about don’t grow a brain, etc. etc. go ahead and look it up if you wish I think you can even Google it whoever wrote that was somewhat of a movie person and I’ve often thought to find out how they get their movies from within that house You know if they had a DVD player back then or were they getting some type of cable if they were getting DVD you know they were renting where are you renting from and if this series of movies that have been found connected to that note were there it’s another big clue But of course I’m not a boulder detective duh you know what else if I was funny it’s like inviting all those people over prior to the police getting there and stuff I don’t care who you are or what you do from the 90s on even the 80s you know how a ransom is supposed to be handled. You know you know that, and you know inviting a bunch of people over is not good I know that’s going to destroy the crime scene. Unless of course that’s what you want to do is destroy the crime scene. Also, the crime scene inviting people over that gives you an out at the end of this scenario, once the money is delivered, and blah blah blah, you know and they are supposed to find the body on a park bench or something like that then you can say oh well we invited people over and we ruined, ruined it. They must’ve seen us and blah blah blah but my thought is that they had help figuring out what to do that to F this up in a quick way, somebody who had a lot of knowledge of the police and I’m still not convinced that that it’s not someone within the family I’m not 100% convinced I’m only 99% as the ransom note says

OF COURSE, I DONT KNOW FOR SURE WHAT HAPPENED AND UNFORTUNATELY IT MAY NEVER BE SOLVED TO OUR LIKING BUT...THIS IS MY THEORY. FOR A LITTLE WHILE I HAD THOUGHT IT WAS THE SON. HE ACTED LIKE A LITTLE ALOOF BRAT, HE HAD A TEMPER AND WAS JEALOUS OF THE ATTENTION SHE GOT, SINCE I BELIEVE IT WAS A FAMILY MEMBER, HE HAD THE MOTIVE OF THOSE THINGS AND ALSO COULD HAVE BEEN MOLESTING HER OR HURT HER FOR WETTING THE BED OR IN A FIGHT. MORBID I KNOW BUT THERE IS NO ONE ELSE THAT THE RAMSEYS WOULD EVER COVER UP THIS MURDER FOR EXCEPT THEIR SON. AND SOMEONE IS COVERING IT UP. BUT.... JOHN RAMSEY WOULD COVER UP FOR PATSY!! SHE WAS HIS SECOND WIFE, HIS YOUNGER, BEAUTY QUEEN TROPHY WIFE HE ADORED. AND BESIDES HIS SON WHO I COULD GO EITHER WAY WITH, JON WOULD DEFINITELY PROTECT HER WITH HIS LIFE EVEN WHEN HIS OWN DEAR DAUGHTER WAS THE VICTIM AND HE WAS DEVASTATED. OF COURSE MAYBE HE DIDNT LOVE JON BENET AND DIDNT CARE. BUT THERE IS NO REASON TO THINK THAT AND I ACTUALLY THINK HE LOVED HIS CHILDREN. I DO NOT THINK THAT PATSY WOULD BE WILLING TO COVER FOR JOHN IF HE WAS THE KILLER BC HER DAUGHTER WAS MURDERED AND IT WOULD MOST LIKELY BE A CASE OF MOLESTATION OR JOHN BEING DISCOVERED TO BE A MONSTER. SO PATSY WOULD COVER UP FOR HER SON AND WOULD FOR SURE TRY TO SAVE HERSELF REGARDLESS OF HOW SHE FELT ABOUT JON BENET. AND JOHN WOULD SAVE HIS FAMILY. SO AFTER ALL THAT EXPLANATION, THIS IS MY BASIC THEORY. ITS WHAT I IMAGINE HAPPENED THOUGH I CAN SEE PATSY BEING SEVERAL DIFFERENT TYPES OF PERSONALITIES, HIDDEN OR KNOWN AND ALSO THE DAD AND SON POTENTIALLY BEING GOOD OR BAD. BUT ILL JUST GO WITH MY FIRST THEORY WHILE ACKNOWLEDGING IT COULD ALL BE DIFFERENT BASED ON WHETHER I WAS WRONG ABOUT THEIR MOTIVATIONS, EMOTIONAL STATES, AND IF THEY WERE EVIL PSYCHOPATHS OR DECENT HUMANS. SO I THINK PATSY WAS A LIFELONG BEAUTY PAGEANT LADY, REALLY INTO THE GLAMOUR ETC AND WHEN SHE WAS DONE SHE WANTED HER DAUGHTER TO BE LIKE SHE HAD BEEN SO SHE COULD SHOW HER OFF BUT ALSO LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH HER TOO. SHE DID HAVE LOVE FOR HER BUT COMPLETE SELFLESS LOVE WAS NOT THERE BC SHE WAS TOO COMPETITIVE WITH JON BENET FOR THE PAGEANT LIFE AND ALSO FOR JONS AFFECITION AND ATTENTION. I THINK SHE WAS MORE AND MORE SUFFERING FROM DEPRESSION AND POSSIBLE BOUTS OF MENTAL ILLNESS, SEVERE OR NOT, AND JOHN WAS VERY DOTING ON HER AND ALSO HIS KIDS BUT ALSO TRIED TO PROTECT THEM FROM BEING TALKED ABOUT OR PEOPLE KNOWING THEIR PERSONAL LIVES. PATSY WAS JEALOUS OF JON BENET AND THAT COUPLED WITH JON BENET BEING A BED WETTER, MAYBE A BIT BRATTY, ETC CAUSED PATSY TO DISCIPLINE HER AT TIMES, MAYBE HARSHLY, MAYBE SPANKINGS AND A FEELING THAT IT WAS A LITTLE INAPPROPRIATE, THAT THERE WAS ALMOST A SEXUALIZATION OF JON BENET. PAGEANTS DO THAT EVEN TO LITTLE GIRLS, SHOW THEM AS MADE UP TINY WOMEN AND THE GIRLS PERFORM LIKE STARLITS AND CANT HELP BUT BE EXPOSED TO ELEMENTS THAT TAKE AWAY INNOCENCE OF JUST BEING A LITTLE GIRL BEFORE PUBERTY. THE MAKEUP, THE DRESSES, THE DANCE AND SINGING, IT ALL IS PRECOCIOUS. SO PATSY WAS DEMANDING AND MAYBE PUSHED JON BENET TO LIKE IT MORE THAN SHE REALLY DID. MAYBE SHE DID LOVE IT TOO, WHO KNOWS BUT SHE FELT PRESSURE FROM HER MOM AND WANTED TO PLEASE HER. SHE ALSO WAS AFFECTED BY PATSYS BEHAVIOR HENCE THE BED WETTING AND OTHER SIGNS SHE WAS COVERTLY SEXUALIZED. IT IS ALWAYS A POSSIBILTY SHE WAS BEING MOLESTED BUT I DOUBT BY THE DAD, I DONT THINK PATSY WAS MOLESTING HER THOUGH I DO THINK THE WHOLE LIFESTYLE WAS A BIT TOO SEXUALIZING AND PATSY MAY HAVE USED BARE BUTT SPANKING OR SHAMING TO PUNISH. IF THE BROTHER WAS JEALOUS HE MAY HAVE ACTED OUT INAPPROPRIATELY TOWARDS JON BENET. I SAY IT COULD GO WITHER WAY, HE DOES SEEM LIKE A STRANGE, SOCIOPATHIC ODDBALL, THE CONSTANT SMILING WHEN DISCUSSING HIS SISTERS DEATH AND HIS LACK OF CARING. BUT OF THE THREE PATSY WAS THE ONE I THINK HAD RESENTMENT WITH JON BENET AND COUPLED WITH HER BOUTS OF MENTAL ILLNESS THE NIGHT THEY CAME HOME, AFTER JON BENET WENT TO BED SOMETHING OCCURRED. SHE EITHER GOT UP AND WOKE UP PATSY, MAYBE SHE WET THE BED, MAYBE SHE WAS HUNGRY, SHE ATE SOME PINEAPPLE SO IF I GO WITH THE THEORY IT WAS PATSY AND DISCDLUDE BURKE, SHE WAS UP AND MAYBE JON BENET WET THE BED, MADE A MESS, PATSY WAS MAYBE DRUNK, IN A BAD STATE, WHO KNOWS IF SHE WAS STRUGGLING WITH OTHER THINGS AND WHAT EVER WENT DOWN, SHE HURT JON BENET. SHE HIT HER, THREW HER, BEAT HER IN THE HEAD AND THOUGHT SHE HAD KILLED HER OR MORE LIKELY, KNEW SHE WAS NOT DEAD BUT COULDNT REVIVE HER AND KNEW THAT SHE COULD NOT GO TO THE HOSPITAL WITHOUT POSSIBLE CHARGES OF ABUSE. SHE WAS SCARED TO DEATH, FRANTIC AND RACKING HER BRAIN ABOUT WHAT TO DO. ILL CHOSE THE THEORY THAT SHE WOKE UP HER HUSBAND AND TOLD HIM WHAT HAPPENED. THEY HAD A TALK ABOUT WHAT TO DO, A VERY EMOTIONAL MOMENT AND REALIZED THAT JON BENET WAS BADLY HURT, MAY NOT SURVIVE AND THEY WERE NOT WILLING TO RUIN THEIR FUTURES AND THEIR SON LOSE HIS MOM AND JON LOSE HIS WIFE AND HER BE IN PRISON IF THAT HAPPENED. OR MAYBE JUST THE REPUTATION THEY WOULD LOSE. POSSIBLY, JON BENET WAS COMATOSE AND THEY DECIDED THAT THEY HAD TO MAKE UP A STORY TO SAVE THEMSELVES BUT ALSO TO KEEP THE TRUTH FROM BURKE. SO, THEY CAME UP WITH A RANSOM STORY BUT COULDNT COME UP WITH A PLAN TO TAKE JON BENET OUT OF THE HOUSE OR DISPOSE OF HER OR ACTUALLY TAKE IT FURTHER TO PRETEND THERE WERE ACTUAL KIDNAPPERS BEYOND JUST THE NOTE. AND EITHER JON OR BOTH DECIDED THEY HAD TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE SHE WAS KILLED BY A STRRANGER OR A SICKO AND THAT THE HEAD INJURY WOULD LEAD TO THEIR GUILT. SO THEY MADE THE GARROTTE THINKING IT WOULD SEEM LIKE A FOREIGN HIT SQUAD. THEY DIDNT PLAN AHEAD AS TO WHY JON BENET WAS LEFT IN THE HOUSE. AND PATSY IN HER ANXIETY AND FRIGHT USED HER OWN PAPER AND PEN, FORGOT TO THROW OUT THE MESS UP NOTES AND LEFT THEM IN THE GARBAGE, SHE TRIED TO DISGUISE HER WRITING BUT ITS IMPOSSIBLE WAS THINKING SO CRAZY THAT SHE RAMBLED ON UNLIKE A KIDNAPPER WOULD TYPICALLY DO. SHE USED TERMINOLOGY THAT WASNT FITTING FOR THEIR STORY, SHE CROSSED THINGS OUT, SHE MADE SO MANY DUMB MISTAKES LEAVING THAT NOTE AND ALSO NOT PUTTING HER HANDPRINTS ON IT AS IF SHE DIDNT BOTHER OT READ IT. THERE IS NO LOGICAL EXPLANATION FOR THE MISTAKE NOTES IN THE TRASH, THE LETTER BEING SO LONG AND FULL OF ODD WORDING, ANDIF IT HAD BEEN REAL KIDNAPPEWRS JON BENET WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN LEFT THEIR WHICH ALSO POINTS TO THEIR GUILT. IN ANY OTHER SITUSATION WHERE THE POLICE ARENT FAMILY FRIENDS AND THE POSSIBLE SUSPECTS ARENT MILLIONAIRES THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN TO TRIAL FOR ONE OF THEM, MOST LIKELY PATSY OR BOTH HER AND JON AND WOULD HAVE HAD ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO CONVICT. THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO ARREST THEM AND CHARGE THEM BUT THEY WERE ALLOWED TO WALK BC MONEY AND POWER BUY PRIVELEGE AND CORRUPTION AND LACK OF VIRTUE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS WAS NOT PRESENT HERE. THEY NEVER SEARCHED THEIR HOUSE FOR HER, THEY DID WHAT THE KIDNAPPERS SAID NOT TO DO OR THEY WOULD KILL JON NEBET. JON FOUND HER COMNVENIENTLY AND NO ONE WILL KNOW HOW SHE WAS REALLY FOUND AND HE CONTAMINATED EVIDENCE CLEARLY ON PURPOSE. THEIR INTERVIEWS, THEIR ENTIRE SHOW POINTS TO A COVER UP TO SAVE PATSY OR MAYBE BURKE BUT DOUBR IT AND BURKE FIGURING IT OUT AS TIME WENT ON AND BEING SICKENED AND UNABLE TO SPEAK UP. OR IF HE DID IT HE IS A PSYCHOLOGICALLY SCREWED PERSON BUT A BOY THAT AGE ABLE TO GO WITHOUT A PEEP ALL THESE YEARS IF HE HAD DONE IT OR KNOWN IS NOT REALLY LIKELY. \SOP, YEAH, PATSY STAGED THE CRIME SCENE, JON SCREWED IT UP, THEY MADE SUCH GLARING MISTAKE S AND WERE PROTECTED WHILE EVERYONE KNEW THAT THEY MUST BE GUILTY. NO ONE BROKE INTO THAT BASEMENT. IF IT HAD BEEN SOMEONE ELSE, THE RAMSEYS WOULD HAVE DONE ANYTHING TO FIND THE KILLER AND CERTAINLY WOULD NOT HAVE LEFT THAT RASNSOM NOTE THERE. WISH THERE WOULD BE SOMETHING DEFINITIVE TO PROVE SHE REALLY DID IT. I HATE THINKING ITS TRUE BUT NOT HAVING THE REAL PROOF. I WANT TO KNOW FOR SURE SO I CAN PROCESS THIS AND GET ON WITH ITL. ITS SO DISTURBING. THE PAGEANT BUSINESS IS NOT FOR LITTLE KIDS AND JON BENET WOULD HAVE BEEN A WILD CHILD HAD SHE LIVED. PATSY MAY HAVE DONE IT ALL HERSELF ESCEPT THAT JOHN WOULD NEVER HAVE BELIEVED THAT ALL THAT HAPPENED BY A STRANGER AND HE WOULD HAVE HAD A MUCH MORE ANGRY REACTION AND TRIED TO FIND THE KILLER. HE IS ACTING LIKE HE IS TRYING TO HELP COVER UP SOMETHING, HIDE SOMEONE AND IT HAS TO BE ONLY ONE OF TWO PEOPLE. SORRY SO LONG. KIND OF LIKE PATSYS RANSOM NOTE. YOU GUYS CAN DO WHAT SHE DID AND NOT READ IT. HA HA HA
