Why do we give everyone but Hojlund and Zirkzee time to adapt to the new system and style of play? Look at Isak or Gyokeres stats from they were the same age as our strikers. They need time to develop. This fanbase just loves to hate on our own players, adding to their loss of confidence.

Zirkzee is NOT a striker and will never be. Højlund is and it's baffling most United fans have already given up on him only just turning 22 years old. Already being called a flop when we've surely seen in many games that he can actually be quite good and score excellent goals. More than enough times to make sure it wasn't just luck when he did. I'm sure he'll be very good when the team functions better and he gets his confidence back - hopefully already by the end of this season. But certainly next season because I still believe Amorim and his system is going to work very well for United in the future. Patience is the key and I know how hard that is for us United fans after all these years of mostly failure, bad leadership and bad decisions at United. INEOS are not perfect at all but the decision to hire Amorim has been the best United decision since Ferguson left.

My point was we only have 1 central striker who most have given up on - just because he very rarely gets the ball from his team mates in scoring positions. That's the problem - Rasmus or Zirkzee aren't even though they are not in great form and have little self confidence because of all their critics. That can change and I hope Amorim and their team mates will help them more.

I would love to see Rasmus get a chance to play when the rest of the squad is more functional; but right now, I agree with Beth. Give the boy a year out on loan to build his confidence back up away from the scrutiny of Manchester. I think there is a player there, but his growth has been stunted, and his confidence is shot. Even if Amorim ultimately decides to get rid of him, a good loan spell can only improve the transfer fee, and better offset the inevitable PSR hit.

Totally agree. Season long loan to West Ham. Potter will nurture and bring the best out of him with help from Paqueta and Kudus to supply him coming from deep. I see similarity to both Danny Welbeck and Evan Ferguson. Both worked well with Potter at Brighton. If Rasmus comes back for 25/26 season we might have wing backs to supply him by then.

Though I wouldn't oppose it, but one of the key things to expect in talent development (ask anyone at Ajax or Barca); is keeping into account a talent often has a lesser period after a promising debut. Because United needs results asap and players like are sellable I would do it, but when the time arrives and the club really want's to commit to talent development; talents should get the time. And nobody should be worried right away if a talent experience a fall back after a good debut (season).

Even worse is that I don't see any current player that has Leadership/Captaincy Material when things get bad on the pitch. We need two world class strikers and given your proposed budget of 60 million we could hypothetically structure the deal that way...Holjund + Cash(30mn) = Oshimen and Zirkzee + Cash(30mn) = Gyokeres. That way we offer the proposed clubs we are buying from an immediate replacement solution in order to mitigate them pushing up the price in the event things drag out too long over the next transfer window in the summer...

Hojlund is a kid. He's been for the most part our only striker. He plays for man UTD. We've just removed 2 more players from our forward line, and at times, one of our other attaching threats is at wing back. We also have wrong footed wide players, we literally never cross the ball into the box. What did people really expect from him? I think he will be a fantastic striker... For his next club.

i honestly think you are looking at it all wrong, We need two proper 10's, put Amad and Dorgu as Wing backs, get two more for rotation, Keep ZirkZee as an option and Loan out Hojlun or possibly sell. We will need rotations for the 10s whether we keep Mainoo or Garnacho is up in the air..At this point we need to look at parting ways with Bruno, I know many like to beleive we need him, we really don't bc he is just taking up space really. Mount, Shaw, Lindelof are all just taking up spots for someone who could be more reliable and ready for action. All in all we need runners and players who can really press and get away from this playing from the back slow motion and slow build up ball we are playing.
