I mean he’s been poor for 18 months but he’s an academy player, yes 100% needs to go now, But let’s not forget when he broke through at 17, we got near a decade out of him before his form completely disappeared, he’s played under about 6 managers, It’s getting sour now so he needs to go but he was at the club since he was a child. Should have sold last year, it’s the clubs fault we can’t get rid because ETHs first season and giving him over £300k a week.

I think Amorim capitalise on the fact that he came in halfway. He's not going to get the boot. When he stressed that he will not change his ways and methods, he's sending a message to the board to either back him or sack him. Lucky for us the Board gets the message and backed him to the hilt.
