Amorphis is one of my all time favorite bands. Glad you found them. They base their lyrics (almost in all of their albums) on Kalevala, The Finnish national epic. Try these: The Bee, On the dark waters, Death of a king, basically any song from the Queen of time album is great.

Pretty much impossible to find a bad song from Amorphis. Their last few albums are absolutely flawless. Death of a King, Bee and Amongst Stars might be something you should check out.

Glad you discovered Amorphis, my high school band from the 90's. They are amazing from the beginning till now, even though they evolved they always kept the Amorphis sound that we always loved. Amazing band and love Tomi's vocals. I watched them live twice and it was flawless, his voice so powerful they ground of the venue felt like a space rocket had been launched, worth to see live. Amorphis actually started touring USA right when they started in the 90's and still does lenghty tours over the new continent, in north and south america. Naturally they won't be filling stadiums but smaller venues. In 2023 summer they will be doing the biggest european festivals and then head to japan for the end of the year. This song is the first single from their latest album that concludes the trilogy saga that started with "Under the red cloud", "Queen of Time" and finished with "Halo" albums. Amorphis can offer something for everyone and it's one of the best stepping stones to get introduced by harsh vocals and their purposeful use to add depth and emotion on their songs. Thanks for reacting to this, for the sake of reacting to Amophis and also this song, which I think hasn't had enough reactions. It's amazing. Keep reacting to them and checking them out. If you like his vocals in particular, Tomi has been with the band since Eclipse (2007 I think). Anything from then I love. The stuff before is good, but since then it's been magic - and my favorite band. And yeah the recent albums have been particularly well produced I think. Under the Red Cloud is my fav album, but seriously you can't go wrong (imo). So check them out.

I've enjoyed your reactions I've watched. Nightwish is my all time favorite, but for the last couple of years I've listened Amorphis way more. And I don't even like growling... But I could listen Tomis growls forever. At least if he also sings 😊 Please do more Amorphis!

You're looking something big, comparable to Nightwish? Amorphis for me is up right there. They have DEPTH, it's a vein you can follow deep: they are one of those veterans in the roots of Finnish metal scene. It's been an enjoyable journey for me to listen Amorphis, and I have a lot more this path to go. They are among my fav bands now.

🇫🇮❤Amorphis is one of the best Finnish metal bands & 11 of their 14 studio albums are just great. Their 2018 album "Queen of Time" was voted the best metal album on Metal Storm, which is among the best metal sites on the Internet. P.S. The female background vocals are by Noa Gruman, who is the lead singer of the Israeli symphonic progressive metal band SCARDUST & also the conductor of the A Cappella metal choir HELLSCORE. For me Eclipse and Silent Waters were a bit of a low point. The singer makes a big difference to me and it took a while for Tomi to get his skills on the level of the rest of the band. Ofc that's just my opinion 😀
