How did you work out the interest using the financial calculator?

You would need the other variables to input before you calculate the interest. The number or periods (n) should be given in the question,together with the payment terms(PMT) and either the future value( FV) or present value (PV) ( also known as the principal amount), once you type those in, just press "comp" "i", and it will give you the interest

@@JayMufamadi that is probably because you did not put a negative sign in for either the PV or FV, one has to be negative, else it will result in an error. Or it could be that you did not enter all the variables in, before you pressed "comp"
