This is so wonderful to see a real show with true comedy full of old home made laughters. I’m 81 yrs & I watched them when I was in Elementary school. Couldn’t wait to get home to see it. We all crowded around the TV in 1952 to see them. I can watch them over & over again. Thanks for putting them on.

My great grandmother would watch A&A all the time and she'd roast about five lbs of pnuts and refrigerate a dozen coca colas so we'd enjoy the program with her. Love you Grandma RIP.

What difference does it make what color you are, this is comedy, life is difficult, we need our medicine of laughter. Because of protest, the performers are unjustly forgotten. So sad.

There are many bios of the cast ..... Especially Kingfish (Tim Moore). Just search for them using Google. There are also interviews of Sapphire, Amos, Calhoun and lightnin on KZbin. There are quotes of Tim Moore here and there and write-ups in his local hometown newspaper called The Rock Island Argus.

I've watched every single episode of Amos and Andy, multiple times, almost every night, simply because these Actors, are the best thing on KZbin, and nothing on Netflix, will ever compare. Their Comedic genius goes unmatched even today..!!

I loved Amos n Andy! I remember watching it on Sunday mornings as a child! Then in the 60's I got on my high horse and thought just like the NAACP! This show had some of the most distinguished black actors as doctors lawyers police officers etc. Now at 65 I see this show as better than most of the black shows today and in the 90's and 80's!. And putting a lot of great actors out of work!!!!

I watched Amos n Andy as a child too. And I'm watching it on KZbin and laughing harder than ever! Today's tv has no real comic intelligence. ABC has the nerve to stamp the word FUNNY on shows that it publishes which have no genuine comic intelligence, skill or substance whatsoever.

No racial slurs? You do understand this was a radio show that was created 25 years prior by two white dudes who later portraits th me characters in blackface in the 30s. They didn’t create these characters. These characters are themselves stereotypes created by white writers. You sound dumb when you don’t know the history of something you claim to enjoy so much.

Oh, how I love Kingfish's scheming so hard to please Sapphire, only for her to get the better of him. These were great scripts, greater actors & actresses. I love them all. It does a body good to laugh at good clean comedy.

how this show was seen as racist i'll never figure out.the NAACP pulled it off the air but look at todays TV shows...all young thugs that seem to portray ALL Black people as sagging their pants,demoralizing women,drugs,robbing when not one single black person i know in my group of friends would ever think of acting like this.todays shows are the ones that should be scrutinized not ones like this that show nothing but pure comedy from thee finest actors to grace the screen...then AND now.

You know I Remembered the actors and actresses rather than the episodes of AMOS and Andy. I was in 1949 a child then, but I'm actually glad to see the show. I don't try to read between lines, or actions of the show I just see it has comedy that was done back in the day.

On the TV show Andy was a stock market investor. On one show he sold insurance. On another show He raised chinchillas (rabbits). On another show he had a donut business but this episode has been lost. Sometimes the circumstances backfire on kingfish and Andy is the winner like in the episode of The Rare Coin. On the TV show Amos had a cab company.

If they decide to make a modern day Amos and Andy Show, I've concluded that there's only one person that could play Andy. New Orleans, born Wendell Pierce, has an uncanny resemblance to Spencer Williams, but, I doubt he'd ever fill the shoes of Spencers' acting ability.

Years ago during the furor over the show, I thought it should stay on, start paying the actors who were still living then, and the rest to the United Negro College Fund. No one responded positively to my letters back then. It was on every night, (M-F) at our house when I was a kid. I just wish there was less violence against men in the show. That hasn't changed in modern programs.

This show highlights a few excellent black actors for that time period. Amos went on to play in several shows before his death Come on people these shows were done in the 50's an all black cast.

Yeah, I too remember back then but could I have fact checked, easy to do now on the Internet, I would have learned that Amos was a true brother. Story went that Amos was a white man in blackface. And these videos on KZbin are a welcome respite from the states of racial and medical turmoil of 2020!!
