I came across this version years ago, heard it before the album version. When I heard the one on his album I was so disappointed. This version has so much soul and passion!! This guy is so peaceful and smooth. The words roll off his tongue with such ease and class. The instrumental composition mixed with the background vocals near the end of the song are quite brilliant. I really do believe that Amos Lee came into his own both commercially and artistically with this song. It is beautifully written and composed.
