I can never get enough of this one. My absolute favorite Amos Lee song.

Great song. Touches on that part of the poet/artist's soul that is always just a little lonely and detached even when you are surrounded by love and happy things. There is always that open road, seeking the just out of reach place inside.

Amos this was a breakthrough song. I call it "a song of faith" when I perform it. Godspeed, brother.

The AC in my car went out, and I've been driving lately with the windows rolled down. I've played this song so many times lately. I can't listen to it with windows rolled up!

Beautiful song. What an awkward silence at the end. Did someone tell them it was time to clap or what?
@suraya12242 жыл бұрын
@Paul Ladendorf I think the audience was still entranced, and out of respect, they waited til Amos strummed the final soft notes (at 3:57, watch his right hand, and his left, on the guitar neck; as soon as he let up on the string, they applauded.)

Is it me or does it appear that he has tuned up to B on the 5th string
