Yes and it depends on time your dog spends with other dogs so make sure you give them bath with tick free shampoo every 10-15 days even if you don't see any tick after socializing or walk with other dogs

I had read somewhere that reason behind ticks is more environmental and hardly with the other animals' contact.

It's true because even taking dog for walk can be a reason for ticks so use tickfree shampoo it's effective wash their legs with this after walk or socializing because we use tickfree only and fur care for normal bath but avoid socializing with those dogs who already have ticks because that is also a major reason too for ticks

Yes, tick free shampoo is working, really great. Categorizing btwn ticks free and with ticks is difficult while on walks. I'm having a 9 months old rottweiler puppy. Minimum 2.30 hrs morning and 1.30 hrs evening walks is his routine. He plays with 95 % of his friends during the sessions except 5% aggressive dogs. This is his daily routine with me since he was 2.5 months old. Also, I came to know abt some tablet on ticks..forgot the name.. Is that good to have for him?

Tablet is Last stage when ticks are way to much to handle and coming frequently but it's very powerful that's why We avoid so wash your dog's feet with tick free daily after walk we do that everyday so no ticks
