Thanks for another great vid. You have become my favourite perfume reviewer, by far. I just sprayed this one on my hand and, like you, was instant love. A unique profile that I think I’d like in my collection.

I watch your videos once for entertainment and again later when I get my nose on the fragrance. I have got a sample of enclave and trying it tonight. Firstly kudos to you for the improvement on the videos. Confidence in performance, much more coherent and flow of your sentences, the sound and visual quality improvements are crazy. Might not seem like it but the video quality has come a long way. ❤ very intriguing scent, your description is spot on with the cool and warm description. I love the leather in this one when I put my nose to the skin rather than in the air. I like it, quite a unique amber. I need to try it a few more times, not a love on first wear but I can see myself falling in love a few wears down the line when it clicks. Scents like this I wish amouage did a small bottle, a 30ml would be a much more palatable purchase because as wearable as it is, probably only choose to wear it when the mood strikes every few months.

@@theworkingkitchen7325 thanks for the comment! Yeah I can’t stand looking back at the older stuff, might do a “reloaded” version of some of these as my opinions, especially since being ‘forced’ to talk about stuff have changed. I still like this a lot and wear it 👍
@theworkingkitchen732518 күн бұрын
@@SeldomlyOften that’s the beauty of fragrance isn’t it. Your nose and taste are constantly evolving with experience. Keep up the good work. A reloaded review for scents that are still in your collection or your opinion of have changed ( for better or worse!) would be super interesting.

Enjoyed this dude, be good to see more cologne content. Only thing I’d say is it’d be good to see you give it a spray, even better spray it on so we can see the atomiser. I hope it’s alright to ask.

I enjoy your reviews, good job and keep up! I’d like to expand my collection into Amouage after getting Interlude Black Iris but I am having a hard time to justify the purchase of Enclave, Meander, Boundless as I can’t smell them on me after 30 minutes. I actually have the same issue with MFK Baccarat Rouge (even the extrait). The fragrances are beautiful and I might end up buying them anyway, but the point is I was expecting much more from Amouage. Is it just me? 😅
@SeldomlyOften8 күн бұрын
Meander is very light, I get the same type of wear. Boundless is a little more potent but still fades to a skin scent pretty quick. Enclave is really potent, I get projection for a really long time.

Beast on my skin. Top 5 amouages. On my skin that incense really stands out, definetly middle eastern style. I have worn it last week in spain on 35degrees C and it works fine
@SeldomlyOften3 ай бұрын
@@Principemostprincipe yeah I love it too, I mostly get amber and mint though!
@filmaelculdetomare15 күн бұрын
I already have Beach Hut Man, which I like a lot... given the prominent mint note, do you think that Enclave is different enough?
@SeldomlyOften15 күн бұрын
It’s a completely different fragrance, not only is the mint note itself different (BH is very natural and herbal while Enclave is tooth paste/chewing gum) but the profile is completely different. This is deeper, darker with a strong amber/incense drydown.
@filmaelculdetomare15 күн бұрын
Cool, I tend not to like (as much) other Amouage frags that are too incensy and/or resinous... so I have a strong feeling that Enclave will be my next purchase. Grazie 👍🏻
@hlindner755 ай бұрын
I enjoy wearing Enclave, also to the office. It is a really nice scent. I would buy it again, if I can get it at a discounted price, but those Amouage bottles last for a very long time.
@PainfulPig2 ай бұрын
Couldn't find Enclave to smell. I did try Meander from the same line, it's really nice! And like you described, you wouldn't guess it's from Amouage. I do think I will go with Portrayal Man for the more silent/approachable Amouages have you tried it? (some people really disagree with me about it being approachable)
@SeldomlyOften2 ай бұрын
@@PainfulPig never tried Portrayal Man, have you? Apparently it’s a gasoline type smell, like Dior Fahrenheit. Meander smells nothing like Enclave, I feel Meader is pretty approachable all considered; ne of the more ‘normal’ scents from Amouage.
@PainfulPig2 ай бұрын
@@SeldomlyOften I agree. I feel like Meander is probably the most mass appealing Amoauge. I have tested Portrayal a few times, it has some Fahrenheit like characteristic, but a lot rounder and soapier, the greenes is a lot deeper too. Honesty I'm just trying to go with the more refreshing Amouages, and there are not many out there.

@@PainfulPig my next review coming out is Beach Hut Man, truly beautiful 🤩 It really depends on the notes you are interested in but yeah, Amouage is not necessarily associated to fresh in my head.

I am looking to try out this or Reflection Man , I will sample it via decant. What do you think would be the more "unique/niche" out of the two as I know Reflection Man is also mentioned as a good entry point?
@SeldomlyOften2 ай бұрын
@@nonikita Enclave is DEFINITELY more unique. Reflection Man is awesome but it’s barely an Amouage to my nose. Nothing else from the house smells so “designer”.
