Amouage Opus VI | Fragrance Review | One of the Best Discoveries 2018

Today I'll do a review of Opus VI from the Library Collection of Amouage. A fantastic incense, resinous and sweet leather scent!

I just subscribed, good stuff, not sure I've tried this one.. maybe in passing, interesting it has the same character as Pardon in that part, that's one I do enjoy.

Opus VI is very good but in my experience it is out of this world off a woman’s skin. It creates a black hole effect in that anyone near her will have their attention pulled into her with incredible strength. For me it is my third favorite after Opus V in 2nd and the King Opus IX. IX is everything magical about Niche perfumery. It took several sniffs to even decide to wear it and a couple wears to wrap my head around what I was smelling. After all the dust settled I realized I was in love. May be a little co feminine for some but to me it’s right down the middle and above all a scent like none other. So opulent, unique and of the highest quality. In our garden we have many large Camelia flower bushes as they thrive here in the south east USA. The flower is stunning but has no smell. Amouage created their own scent on what they believe it could smell like. Beyond sexy it is a heart throb IMO. I need to try the newest release in the collection XI which contains real Oud and created under the direction of the brilliant Mr. Chung. If you enjoy the beautiful Opus VI, one of the best Amber based scents outside of MFK Grand Soir and Xerjoff Dhajala, do yourself a favor and PROPERLY sample IX. The library collection is a line that is truly timeless but needs to be revisited several time. Treat scent like people. To get to the core we must give time coupled with an open mind to charm the being into opening up and reveal its true nature.

Ordered a full bottle; instant buyers remorse; could have bought a set of tyres. It just arrived. Of course it was worth it. P.S. And I thought it was just me that got chocolate from Pardon.

Spot on. Faz lembrar o Jubi mas, na minha opinião, com a potência aumentada ao dobro. Se bem lembro também apanhei montes de especiarias (pimenta? cuminho?). Infelizmente ainda não é este o Amouage que me vai fazer gostar da marca. Excelente critica nevertheless.

Não consigo ver a semelhança com o Jubi porque falta aquele fruto silvestre no Opus, mas é bastante forte nas especiarias, sem dúvida! Algo que também vai ao encontro do Journey Man. Vai chegar o dia em que Amouage vai ser a tua marca preferida!! 😂 Muito obrigado grande Sérgio! 🤗🙏

Acredito, acho que ainda tenho o nariz muito noob. Tenho de experimentar mais coisas da marca para ver se consigo perceber o encanto. Não tens de agradecer João, tens é de continuar com o trabalho impecável.
